About the painting of Sarah Palin....

It seems like there is a great deal of consternation on the part of some that this picture appears on my blog. That somehow it's a picture driven by lust. It's not. It's a piece of art patterned after Rosie the Riveter from WWII.

There are many things in the picture that represent who Sarah is to those of us who admire her and want to see her as President. She knows to cut the head off he snake, it's under her arm. She has the Rules for Radicals by Saul Alinsky under her feet. Bible in her pocket. Her lunchbox is filled with ammo.

Her "Hiked Up" dress is something the artist did. I won't argue with him. Maybe he just didn't want to put Sarah in Pants? It's not a sexist thing.

She represents good things to those of us who believe God destined her for greatness. I am not going to argue with him.
Besides if the Texans for Sarah like it....who am I to disagree?

OH and the title of the photo... Sarah para bellum? It means, "If you wish for peace, prepare for war"

She means it and even if it's not OK with you, I am leaving the picture up. As one commenter said:

I don't find the picture offensive at all. I see strength, beauty, and poise. All gifts from God. Some people may lust over the picture. That is their problem.
