The
poorer a country is .......the more poverty you will have in that
country. And the more expensive you make energy.....the more poverty
you will produce in a nation. Please consider that reality, Pope
Francis, before you punish us and all poor people for something (climate
change) that has not even been proven. It is capitalism that produces
jobs for people in free societies Pope Francis. Would you rather that
governments control the economies of the world??? Look at the economies
of the former Soviet Union, China, Venezuela, Cuba, for examples of
economies that not only don't work......but they enslave or enslaved
their people. So which works out better Pope Francis??? A free
enterprise economy allows upward economic mobility of all of its
members. A totalitarian government does not allow for people to prosper
economically. Totalitarian regimes take away civil liberties so that
no one can prosper economically. And that is the purpose of those
governments ....to control peoples initiatives and so their abilities to
prosper as a result of their contributions to the society in which they
live.
Pope Francis suggests that capitalism worsens poverty, encourages vice, and creates suffering, but he's wrong on every count.
