A Float from A German Fashing Parade (German Mardi Gras)
Somehow depicting President Obama as an Angel seems just a little weird, isn't it. Can you imagine Bill Clinton?
Oh, the tendency of 'godifying' is pretty meaningless and harmless. Everytime my hubby builds some new canoe or piece of furniture, I call him my "God of Wood" but we know I don't mean it literally. Portraying Obama as an angel is perhaps a less disturbing thing about this float than the float person following him by reaching up under his skirt. On second thought, maybe Obama in a dress is the scarier thing. Are you sure this is real, Gene?

I'm sure it's real.
In Germany they do Mardi Gras differently.
We saw a couple of these parades. Quite something.
I don't know the significance of the person behind. She's blond. Angela Merkle is Blond. Maybe that's the idea.
Don't think of it as a dress... Think of it as a Roman War Skirt. Think Troy
