This doesn't sit well with me. Slippery slope. Will I need permission to travel to see my relatives in ND? This is third world behavior.
In order to fundamentally transform America, wouldn't it be a good idea to have state to state visas? Just think of the additional controls that can put on the population. Besides, with a new security measure to require “state visas” to travel between the states, the government will be better equipped to control everything from the distribution of narcotics to uncovering terror plots.
