This HAS to be one of the dumbest statements ever made by any president. OK, WMD's in Iraq might be close (GWB). BUT this is just inane. I know it's good politics, he has greenies to appease, but this is just silly. Mr President, you are talking to such a low common denominator that it borders on MEGA PANDERING. The idea that unemployment bennies grows the economy is not just bad economics, it's warped thinking. I don't want to suspect our President of warped thinking but he can do better than this.
