Thorton Wilder's Play Our Town came to mind yesterday. What IF Whitney Houston had been Emily from Our Town? Came back. Was allowed to speak at her own funeral instead of her 12th birthday. What would Whitney have said? What message would she have brought? Would it have been what you heard and saw? Would she have sung at her own funeral? Or might she have brought a more focused message? I think I know.... Now THAT would have filled the altars..
