This is very very sad. Do we make ANYTHING ANYMORE? Who killed the American Manufacturing machine. Wal Mart? Unions? Greed? Bad Government? All of the above!

GM is canceling the 84-year-old brand after winding down production over the past few years. Like other American automakers, it is restructuring and rebranding to compete with foreign companies.

All of the above, but mainly our collective philosophy. Our philosophy has changed over the decades. We used to make most things for ourselves. Now, we are more content to buy from a foreign government using slave labor. Work ethic and skill set are gone. World war is imminent. We are industrially weak and will not be able to build up adequate manufacturing to replace damaged war goods. China and Russia know this. China will want their money back. We will say no, can't. China will take what they think is theirs.
