The Three D's of Christians who Vote blindly for Democrats

Not all democrats are evil.  That much is sure.  I have voted for and supported democrats from time to time when the Republican was an obvious scumbag.  The most recent was the Ryan - Poshard race in the 90s.  There are honorable democrats.

And there are dishonorable Republicans.  We have to rid ourselves of these people in the Party.

I am talking about those who vote for democrats who at face value are evil.   Pelosi.  Schumer.  Durbin and yes Barack H Obama.  People who publicly proclaim anti christian policies and then expect voters who have no discernment to blindly vote for them.  And they do.

There are Three categories of these voters.

Deluded Christian Democrats:  These are people who don't know much, watch a lot of non news TV, are swayed by culture and popular myths.  The voted for Obama because he "Looked Good".  They are low information voters.  They don't know why they vote.  It's the popular thing to do.  They are not really committed one way or another.  Sometimes these sad souls are voting this way because momma or daddy voted that way for decades.  Or they identify with the candidate.  Race, name, popularity.  They are swayed by the Daily Show and Saturday Night Live.  One way to tell if they are deluded is mention Sarah Palin to them.  If they roll eyes... you got your basic deluded low information voter on your hands.

Deceived Christian Democrats:  These people really believe that they can square the principles of the Bible with the things they vote for.  They are sincere in their convictions and can find all kinds of arguments from the left and the social gospel folks to support their claims.  They use the Bible only when it fits their politics.  The parts that don't they avoid.  They are relativists.  They have lip service to the cause of Christ.. some are even pastors.. but they somehow are able to support the Homosexual agenda, same sex marriage, abortion on demand and theft by government without blinking an eye.  They do it because the works mentality says if we just take better care of the poor we can stomp on any Bible Principle we want.  The social gospel will take you further downhill than you can imagine.

Demonic "Christian" Democrats:  These are people who put on the show but have no respect at all for the Word of God.  Many of our politicians are such.  Many of these are Catholics.  Joe Biden comes to mind.  Goes to mass, but doesn't demonstrate a modicum of Christianity except in his liberal policies.  I won't say Pres Obama is one such, but I believe him to be surrounded my many demons who speak into his ear and are leading him into demonizing.  I believe many of the "Reverends" we see and hear who represent left wing policies are these demoniac.  Paul said that even if an angel of light came preaching another Gospel to beware.  Of course a pagan anti God politician is a no brainer.  He staked his claim long ago.  They are declared.  It's the ones who are pretenders, wolves in sheep's clothing about whom we must be most concerned.  The real problem is the Deceived and Deluded are led astray by the demonic.

IF you consider yourself a Christian and in the last few elections voted overwhelmingly for a democrat slate (including President Obama) which one are YOU?  You have to be one, because the two just don't mix.

To be clear.. there are times when you might vote another way when the evidence is strong that there is a problem, I am talking about substantially.  IF you slavishly vote for the democrat and the next Sunday go shout and dance at church, something is very wrong.  I can't see your heart.  I can't see what you did or didn't.  I can ask you to examine your consciences and ask, do I represent my christian values if my voting record on a personal basis brought this nation to Gay Marriage, Homosexual Agenda, Islamic Victory, Government Theft and Rampant Abortion?

It may be time to repent.

A testimony about Obamacare from a victim

My 47 year old brother has progressive MS, has use of only one arm and lives in an ‘old folks’ home. Because of obamacare he is in jeopardy of losing the care he receives because he has no productive life. He can’t work, he can’t even go to the bathroom unless lifts him up and takes him. He is a burden on the healthcare system. obamacare will deny care or extensive care to those who have no productive life (e.g., MS, down syndrome), who are terminally ill and/or those who are over 75. Those ‘death panels’?, they are not listed by that name but they are there. Every five years after a certain age (and I don’t think that age has been established), a person will go before the panel every five years to ascertain their health . However if you have any of the ailments listed above (and more ), you will go before the board more frequently. Then it will be decided between you and the board (who ever that may be) whether it is best for you to take the magic pill and sit back and wait to die. Remember when obama held a town hall meeting and a woman stood up to speak and talked about getting surgery for her 95 year old mother? obama asked her why she didn’t just give her mother a pain pill and forget about the surgery since she was so old. Think about that statement when you think of your parents or elderly siblings or other family members. Just like in Great Britain, the old will be left on the gurney in the hallway to die.

From what I read the health care law is for the young and the healthy. However not ALL young. A congressmen during the heated debates when it was a bill demanded that abortion be part of the bill because babies being born place a burden on the health care system. So therefore, the health care law is for the young already on this earth and the healthy.

I found out the other day that if you smoke (which I do not), you are going to be forced to pay an extra $3,000 a year for insurance. The IRS has deemed that for a family of 4/5 for the bronze plan will be $19,000 a year. So if you smoke and have a family you will pay a minimum of $22,000 a year for healthcare. -and this is for everyone? of course not over 7 million people will lose their health care and will not be able to get this obamadeath care plan. Heaven only know what the gold and platinum will cost. Of course what each plan entails has not been disclosed (probably not even been thought about yet).

Now a bill has been introduced by the senate (hello that isn’t their job) to allow illegals to get on the obamahealth care plan. Who the hell do you think is going to pay for all of this? illegals? no they only want whatever they can get for FREE and we, the tax payers end up resourcing it. If you think it is bad now, just wait. Someone has to pay for all of this, and the 53% that pay taxes are going to be stuck (and the really wealthy are already jumping ship). O.K. the 47% ? For those work and are in the 47%. If you pay taxes through your salary and get 100% of those taxes back, you pay NO taxes, plain and simple.

For those who are still in denial, I will take a wild bet they will be one of the first to complain that their taxes are going up, the commodities they buy have increased in price and their doctor has either retired or left town because they can’t afford to practice because of obamacare.

How My Life Became Focused

Some years ago I went thru a very hard time.  Business had failed. I was unemployed.  Didn't know what I wanted to do next.   I knew this.  I was a believer in the theorem that "Do what you love and the money will follow".   It has turned out that way.

But it took courage.  I had to step away from any idea that people were going to write me a check every month.  I had to come to the conclusion that JOB is a four letter word.  That I would never again be under anyone's expectations or thumb.  It has worked out pretty well.  Sure there have been some rough times.. but living on the edge does that to a person.

First thing I did to find what my future would be was make lists.

1.  I made a list of everything I have ever done. Any skill or ability I ever had.
2   I made a list of everything I ever did that I really enjoyed.  In my wheelhouse so to speak.
3.  I made a list of everything I was bad at, didn't like and really didn't want to ever do again
4.  I made a  list of every Job I ever hoped I would have a shot at.
5.  I made a list of everything I would never ever want to do.
6.  I made a list of what I loved as a kid.
7.  I made a list of what I hated as a kid.
8.  I made a list of every kind of productive activity I could engage in.

From those lists I sorted back and forth thru them and began to see a pattern.  I was supposed to do certain things and NEVER do others.

I am hard wired NOT to ever work for another person... ever again.

In that finding my sweet spot, my wheelhouse of energy has provided me a great life.  That's what it's all about.

18 principles for highly creative living

This is just REALLY good.  Read the whole thing:

“Creativity is the greatest rebellion in existence.” — Osho

1. The purpose of education is no longer to fit yourself to a career, which might or might not exist (at least in its current form) by the time you are ready to enter it. The purpose of education is to give you the foundation to enable you to create your own path.
2. Study human nature. You understand others through understanding yourself; you can understand yourself through understanding others. Without that understanding, your art will probably suck.
3. Life doesn’t happen in sequential order (build career/find mate/have kids). The version you carry in your head of how your life should be was probably cobbled together from movies, TV, other forms of fantasy handed down by a culture that wants you to buy stuff. So junk it. Redefine success. Embrace the mess. There’s beauty in the imperfection.
4. You need the struggle to transform you into the person you’re required to be in order to carry out whatever you were born to do. Have faith in the process. The darkness is rich, carries its own rewards, and gives birth to light.
Light from darkness
5. Spirituality is not the same as religion. You can embrace the former and reject the latter.
6. When we’re kids, we get punished for being different. For being ‘too much’. We tamp ourselves down and shape ourselves to fit in. As an adult, your power is in your original point of view, so long as you a) have the courage to declare it and b) can make it relevant to other people.
7. Creativity happens in the edges and intersections (where different ideas can meet up and have sex with each other): between disciplines, and also between people. You need your tribe. Your mind craves the stimulation of other minds. We shape ourselves according to the people we hang with (we can’t help it) so if you don’t like the person you’re becoming, slowly change out your tribe.
medium_96724309
8. At the same time, we need to actively carve out spaces of silence and solitude in order to do the deep thinking and real art-making that creates meaning from chaos. Emptiness is powerful and sacred: the birthplace of new possibility. Make those spaces for yourself. Build in your own periods of digital detox. Protect and defend them.
9. Use the word ‘yes’ to connect with people; use the word ‘no’ to protect your space, work, time and relationships. Inside every ‘no’ is a ‘yes’ to something else. Know what that is.
10. Cultivate fierce listening skills.
11. Have fierce conversations. Step out from behind the social mask. Show your core.
12. Risk-taking is the new conservative. Live off your ragged edge. Grow. Or the world will leave you behind.

The Coming of a New Ice Age

Contrary to the conventional wisdom of the day, the real danger facing humanity is not global warming, but more likely the coming of a new Ice Age.

What we live in now is known as an interglacial, a relatively brief period between long ice ages.  Unfortunately for us, most interglacial periods last only about ten thousand years, and that is how long it has been since the last Ice Age ended.

How much longer do we have before the ice begins to spread across the Earth’s surface?  Less than a hundred years or several hundred?  We simply don’t know.

Even if all the temperature increase over the last century is attributable to human activities, the rise has been relatively modest one of a little over one degree Fahrenheit — an increase well within natural variations over the last few thousand years.

While an enduring temperature rise of the same size over the next century would cause humanity to make some changes, it would undoubtedly be within our ability to adapt.

Entering a new ice age, however, would be catastrophic for the continuation of modern civilization.

One has only to look at maps showing the extent of the great ice sheets during the last Ice Age to understand what a return to ice age conditions would mean.  Much of Europe and North-America were covered by thick ice, thousands of feet thick in many areas and the world as a whole was much colder.

The last “little” Ice Age started as early as the 14th century when the Baltic Sea froze over followed by unseasonable cold, storms, and a rise in the level of the Caspian Sea.  That was followed by the extinction of the Norse settlements in Greenland and the loss of grain cultivation in Iceland.  Harvests were even severely reduced in Scandinavia   And this was a mere foreshadowing of the miseries to come.

I have this Woman

I am not so religious that I quibble about the titles people put on our quasi spiritual memorials in the culture

I know Jesus wasn't born at Christmas time. I know it is an outcrop from a pagan turn of the year celebration. BUT for a brief moment in time the world's attention is turned to Jesus. I know all about the word Easter... it's meaning out of ishtar. We get all religious about the titles on our culturally churchy commemorations... but every Sunday is resurrection Sunday in my eyes. So if for a brief moment the world's eyes consider the claims of Christ, his passion, the passover mandate we celebrate tonight, the cost of the crucifixion tomorrow night as it's remembered, then call it what you will... the purpose stands. We don't even have it right. I know that on the Hebrew calender Today would be Holy Saturday. TOMORROW would be EASTER. Passover started Monday night and ended Tuesday at sundown. So Wednesday was Crucifixion. Don't want to confuse you. Let's just be thankful that even with some pagan roots there is a testimony to Christ RISING from the dead after bearing in his own body the Sins of the WHOLE WORLD. Don't get all cranky.... I would like to see ALL holidays redeemed for the Cause of Christ.

The hand wringing over the closure of Chicago Schools is wrongheaded

Last September when the Teachers went on strike for more and got it I said then that was the straw that will break the camel's back. That you should now expect mass closings of schools. This is just the beginning. Votes have consequences. Many anguishing over this were supporters of the teachers. Plus the population of Chicago mostly on the west and south sides has declined by almost a quarter million in the last ten years. Add to that the 300,000 abortions performed in Chicago mostly on populations on the west and south side and you see what is happening. There aren't any kids.

The schools closing are closing because the people who would have been served by them simply aren't there. This is a cultural thing. Add to that the people most impacted by this are voters who continue to support those who support abortion and policies that create the culture that runs people out. The real battle must not be with the mayor. It must be with the things that cause him to act. I support his efforts. The CPS is a money pit that is in a downward spiral. Add to that the fact that the education the kids get is indoctrination in bad ideas not skills in dealing with life well. Kids coming out of school with diplomas they can't read.

The answer to this is the abolition of public education in Chicago. Voucher every child. Let the private schools, christian schools, catholic schools and for profit education compete with one another for the vouchers. You will see at once places for unemployed teachers to find work. Right now the CPS spends over $12,000 per student. If you want to foster neighborhood schools, cut that to Ten grand per year per student as a voucher. Bump it a bit for rough neighborhoods. I guarantee you that Schools will blossom everywhere. A school with 50 kids will open everywhere. Look at the money. Those who RUN private and Christian schools today do it for much less. Get on the right side of this issue and watch things happen. Once again those who fight this are on the wrong side of the issue. Shut down the whole CPS.

Ten Reasons to Oppose Gay Marriage

1. It Is Not Marriage

Calling something marriage does not make it marriage. Marriage has always been a covenant between a man and a woman which is by its nature ordered toward the procreation and education of children and the unity and well-being of the spouses.

The promoters of same-sex “marriage” propose something entirely different. They propose the union between two men or two women. This denies the self-evident biological, physiological, and psychological differences between men and women which find their complementarity in marriage. It also denies the specific primary purpose of marriage: the perpetuation of the human race and the raising of children.

Two entirely different things cannot be considered the same thing.

2. It Violates Natural Law

Marriage is not just any relationship between human beings. It is a relationship rooted in human nature and thus governed by natural law.

Natural law’s most elementary precept is that “good is to be done and pursued, and evil is to be avoided.” By his natural reason, man can perceive what is morally good or bad for him. Thus, he can know the end or purpose of each of his acts and how it is morally wrong to transform the means that help him accomplish an act into the act’s purpose.

Any situation which institutionalizes the circumvention of the purpose of the sexual act violates natural law and the objective norm of morality.

Being rooted in human nature, natural law is universal and immutable. It applies to the entire human race, equally. It commands and forbids consistently, everywhere and always. Saint Paul taught in the Epistle to the Romans that the natural law is inscribed on the heart of every man. (Rom. 2:14-15)

3. It Always Denies a Child Either a Father or a Mother

It is in the child’s best interests that he be raised under the influence of his natural father and mother. This rule is confirmed by the evident difficulties faced by the many children who are orphans or are raised by a single parent, a relative, or a foster parent.

The unfortunate situation of these children will be the norm for all children of a same-sex “marriage.” A child of a same-sex “marriage” will always be deprived of either his natural mother or father. He will necessarily be raised by one party who has no blood relationship with him. He will always be deprived of either a mother or a father role model.

Same-sex “marriage” ignores a child’s best interests.

4. It Validates and Promotes the Homosexual Lifestyle

In the name of the “family,” same-sex “marriage” serves to validate not only such unions but the whole homosexual lifestyle in all its bisexual and transgender variants.

Civil laws are structuring principles of man's life in society. As such, they play a very important and sometimes decisive role in influencing patterns of thought and behavior. They externally shape the life of society, but also profoundly modify everyone’s perception and evaluation of forms of behavior.

Legal recognition of same-sex “marriage” would necessarily obscure certain basic moral values, devalue traditional marriage, and weaken public morality.

5. It Turns a Moral Wrong into a Civil Right

Homosexual activists argue that same-sex “marriage” is a civil rights issue similar to the struggle for racial equality in the 1960s.

This is false.

First of all, sexual behavior and race are essentially different realities. A man and a woman wanting to marry may be different in their characteristics: one may be black, the other white; one rich, the other poor; or one tall, the other short. None of these differences are insurmountable obstacles to marriage. The two individuals are still man and woman, and thus the requirements of nature are respected.

Same-sex “marriage” opposes nature. Two individuals of the same sex, regardless of their race, wealth, stature, erudition or fame, will never be able to marry because of an insurmountable biological impossibility.

Secondly, inherited and unchangeable racial traits cannot be compared with non-genetic and changeable behavior. There is simply no analogy between the interracial marriage of a man and a woman and the “marriage” between two individuals of the same sex.

6. It Does Not Create a Family but a Naturally Sterile Union

Traditional marriage is usually so fecund that those who would frustrate its end must do violence to nature to prevent the birth of children by using contraception. It naturally tends to create families.

On the contrary, same-sex “marriage” is intrinsically sterile. If the “spouses” want a child, they must circumvent nature by costly and artificial means or employ surrogates. The natural tendency of such a union is not to create families.
Therefore, we cannot call a same-sex union marriage and give it the benefits of true marriage.

7. It Defeats the State’s Purpose of Benefiting Marriage

One of the main reasons why the State bestows numerous benefits on marriage is that by its very nature and design, marriage provides the normal conditions for a stable, affectionate, and moral atmosphere that is beneficial to the upbringing of children—all fruit of the mutual affection of the parents. This aids in perpetuating the nation and strengthening society, an evident interest of the State.

Homosexual “marriage” does not provide such conditions. Its primary purpose, objectively speaking, is the personal gratification of two individuals whose union is sterile by nature. It is not entitled, therefore, to the protection the State extends to true marriage.

8. It Imposes Its Acceptance on All Society

By legalizing same-sex “marriage,” the State becomes its official and active promoter. The State calls on public officials to officiate at the new civil ceremony, orders public schools to teach its acceptability to children, and punishes any state employee who expresses disapproval.

In the private sphere, objecting parents will see their children exposed more than ever to this new “morality,” businesses offering wedding services will be forced to provide them for same-sex unions, and rental property owners will have to agree to accept same-sex couples as tenants.

In every situation where marriage affects society, the State will expect Christians and all people of good will to betray their consciences by condoning, through silence or act, an attack on the natural order and Christian morality.

9. It Is the Cutting Edge of the Sexual Revolution

In the 1960s, society was pressured to accept all kinds of immoral sexual relationships between men and women. Today we are seeing a new sexual revolution where society is being asked to accept sodomy and same-sex “marriage.”

If homosexual “marriage” is universally accepted as the present step in sexual “freedom,” what logical arguments can be used to stop the next steps of incest, pedophilia, bestiality, and other forms of unnatural behavior? Indeed, radical elements of certain “avant garde” subcultures are already advocating such aberrations.

The railroading of same-sex “marriage” on the American people makes increasingly clear what homosexual activist Paul Varnell wrote in the Chicago Free Press:

"The gay movement, whether we acknowledge it or not, is not a civil rights movement, not even a sexual liberation movement, but a moral revolution aimed at changing people's view of homosexuality."

10. It Offends God

This is the most important reason. Whenever one violates the natural moral order established by God, one sins and offends God. Same-sex “marriage” does just this. Accordingly, anyone who professes to love God must be opposed to it.

Marriage is not the creature of any State. Rather, it was established by God in Paradise for our first parents, Adam and Eve. As we read in the Book of Genesis: “God created man in His image; in the Divine image he created him; male and female He created them. God blessed them, saying: ‘Be fertile and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it.’” (Gen. 1:28-29)

The same was taught by Our Savior Jesus Christ: “From the beginning of the creation, God made them male and female. For this cause a man shall leave his father and mother; and shall cleave to his wife.” (Mark 10:6-7).

Genesis also teaches how God punished Sodom and Gomorrah for the sin of homosexuality: “The Lord rained down sulphurous fire upon Sodom and Gomorrah. He overthrew those cities and the whole Plain, together with the inhabitants of the cities and the produce of the soil.” (Gen. 19:24-25)

Take a little good Advice from an old Farmer:

Your fences need to be horse-high, pig-tight and bull-strong. Keep skunks and bankers at a distance. Life is simpler when you plow around the stump. A bumble bee is considerably faster than a John Deere tractor. Words that soak into your ears are whispered... not yelled. Meanness don't jes' happen overnight. Forgive your enemies; it messes up their heads. Do not corner something that you know is meaner than you. It don't take a very big person to carry a grudge. You cannot unsay a cruel word. Every path has a few puddles. When you wallow with pigs, expect to get dirty. The best sermons are lived, not preached. Most of the stuff people worry about ain't never gonna happen anyway. Don't judge folks by their relatives. Remember that silence is sometimes the best answer. Live a good, honorable life... Then when you get older and think back, you'll enjoy it a second time. Don 't interfere with somethin' that ain't bothering you none. Timing has a lot to do with the outcome of a Rain dance. If you find yourself in a hole, the first thing to do is stop diggin'. Sometimes you get, and sometimes you get got. The biggest troublemaker you'll probably ever have to deal with, watches you from the mirror every mornin'. Always drink upstream from the herd. Good judgment comes from experience, and a lotta that comes from bad judgment. Lettin' the cat outta the bag is a whole lot easier than puttin' it back in. If you get to thinkin' you're a person of some influence, try orderin' somebody else's dog around.. Live simply. Love generously. Care deeply. Speak kindly. Leave the rest to God. Don't pick a fight with an old man. If he is too old to fight, he'll just kill you.
“I’m bored’ is a useless thing to say. I mean, you live in a great, big, vast world that you’ve seen none percent of. Even the inside of your own mind is endless; it goes on forever, inwardly, do you understand? The fact that you’re alive is amazing, so you don’t get to say ‘I’m bored.”

Would public execution of these fiends have any influence on the crime rate or will we just keep blaming guns?

An Oregon high school teacher was escorted from the building by police this week over what is believed to be related to his continued opposition to Planned Parenthood’s presence in the classroom.

Bill Diss is a math and computer science teacher at Benson High School in Portland, and has taught at the school for 11 years. Diss has also become known in the school for his opposition to Planned Parenthood since 2007, when he first began organizing efforts during after-school hours to stop the furtherance of the abortion provider in the community.

“I certainly fight Planned Parenthood, which I certainly have a right to do,” he told reporters this week following the incident. “And that was all on the outside, until [last] year when they brought Planned Parenthood [into the school].”

According to reports, last year, Planned Parenthood of Columbia Williamette began promoting its Teen Outreach Program (TOP) at Benson High School where Diss is employed as a teacher. In September, two representatives from the organization showed up at Diss’ classroom as they were hoping to speak to students. However, he would not let the representatives enter and asked them to leave.

This is HATED by the left. I might even send NPR some money... A very interesting commentary on This American Life that played yesterday. I heard it. The transcript, link and charts are below. It is so hard to support government gone astray. Not everything we call mercy..

From this article from across the pond. They don't think much of our president:
(He writes of Putin) "Like Catherine the Great and Tsar Paul he has Mediterranean ambitions. Unlike them, he faces negligible opposition from a bankrupt European Union and a geopolitical illiterate in the Oval Office who makes Jimmy Carter resemble Bismarck. We should not be surprised if, by the time the EU collapses, the Mediterranean has become a Russian lake".
