This may lead not just to a currency war, but a shooting war: Brazil’s president-elect Dilma Rousseff put it even more bluntly late
last week: “The last time there was a competitive devaluation of
currencies, it ended up where it did, in the second World War.”
THESE should be read and considered by every Church Leader. Pastor, Apostle and Elder. He may or may not be a Christian, but he speaks the truth about things.
I watched this twice and it brought me to tears both times
This is interesting because some form of deliverance happens at many services I am a part of. I DO think there are demonic strongholds that take more focused ministry. So, it's good that they are trained.

No Shock
It's always nice to know that Chicagoland is NOT always the most corrupt place on the planet. Spread the love a bit.
The USA will have to enter this battle or the war will cross our borders with vengeance. Mexico is close to a failed state and no country can tolerate a failed state on it's border and survive.

How to Solve the Pension Crisis and Encourage Financial Discipline at the Same Time
What I suggest is a means tested pension system with debenture bonds subordinate to the other obligations of the state due when those obligations are met on a steady basis. It will be real money, just now now and not until the state's financial situation comes under control.
Here's how it would work:
All pensions would be capped at no more than $40,000 per year to be paid at once. This would be an indexed amount. The balance due would be issued as non interest bearing debentures. The debentures could be cashed out to a factoring agency like J D Wentworth if there were buyers. The debentures could be used to buy things and services from willing sellers. There could be a secondary market.
Once the day came that the state became solvent again, the bearer bonds, the subordinated debentures could be presented for a cash payout.
This would have the net effect of balancing the budget quickly and it would create additional pressure to balance the state budgets.
All in all a good thing. Of course it will never work. It makes too much sense.

This town is in an area that at one time was Germany. My people came from an area about a hundred miles north, also Germany then until we lost the war and were kicked out which is why we now live in the USA. I think this is pretty cool. I might want to visit.
Two is a start, It's time to reverse this curse where if you are the devil but a democrat you can count on loyal votes from Cook County. I wish a man of authority, integrity and a moral commitment to righteousness would step up and boldly run for Mayor of Chicago..one from the Community. One who could lead out of this mess. One who could reverse this curse we live under. Who is there? I don't see him. He will be MORE like Scott or West and less like has been in the past. I knew Mayor Washington. Where are you sir?

OOPS and when Geitner is thrown under the Bus, Mayor Bloomberg will become Treasury Sec. This won't be pretty. I suspect there will need to be a frank and practical discussion.
This is very very sad. Do we make ANYTHING ANYMORE? Who killed the American Manufacturing machine. Wal Mart? Unions? Greed? Bad Government? All of the above!
Unwed Mothers is the Norm!! Something is wrong with this. From this article: The black community's 72 percent rate eclipses that of most other groups: 17 percent of Asians, 29 percent of whites, 53 percent of Hispanics and 66 percent of Native Americans were born to unwed mothers in 2008, the most recent year for which government figures are available. The rate for the overall U.S. population was 41 percent.

BOSTON HERALD: Go for it, Scott Brown!
Don’t be silly. There’s no way this country would elect a Senator
with a mere two years of experience to the highest office in the land.

It's this kind of thing, all licensing of non life threatening business, that stifles economic growth. Shame on the county of Orange in Florida
Islamic Envrionmentalists
Ah, I get it, the attacks of 9-11 were an environmental protest. I guess if you kill all the infidels (which is a few billion people) pollution will go down. Is Al Gore a Muslim? Is radical environmentalism Jihad?

Obama Should Resign NOW
Obama has failed.
So, let it go man....it's over.
Worry about Obama
From Victor David Hansen....and I couldn't agree more
What worries me about President Obama is really one general issue: his very concrete enjoyment of the good life as evidenced by his golf outings, Martha’s Vineyard vacations, and imperial entourages that accompany him abroad, and yet his obvious distrust of the private sector and the success of the wealthy. Yet my discomfort here is not even one that arises from an obvious hypocrisy of, say, a Michelle on the 2008 campaign trail lecturing the nation about its meanness or her own previous lack of pride in her country, juxtaposed with her taste for the publicly provided rarefied enjoyments of a Costa del Sol hideaway at a time of recession.
No, my worries run deeper. Apparently, the president is unaware that after some 2,500 years of both experience with and abstract thought about Western national economies, we know that a free, private sector increases the general wealth of a nation, while a statist redistributive state results in a general impoverishment of the population. At the root of that truth is simple human nature — that people wish to further their own interest more fervently than the more abstract public good (e.g., why the renter does not wash the rental car, or why the public restroom is treated differently from its counterpart at home), and can be encouraged to invent, create, and discover which in turn helps the less fortunate, lucky, healthy, or talented.
