Idot Liberal Results

All because Idiot Liberals think they are smarter than everyone else. They're not. They were warned. But, they know better. Idiots.

Sputnik

When I was 12 years old a bright star appeared in the sky. Well, not so bright. But it was a big deal to me. You see, my cousin John and I at that time spent a lot of time looking at the sky thru binoculars and telescopes. We knew much about astronomy. It was easy to do in North Dakota. You can see a lot of stars in the cold clear dark night.

Not so much in Illinois. Too much ground light.

I miss the Milky Way, Orion, The Big and Little Dipper, Polaris, Seven Sisters, Mars, Jupiter....

In Oct of 1957 the Russians launched Sputnik. I vividly recall going out on my front lawn and seeing it move across the sky about 7 at night.

It was a big deal.

It still is.

I just can't believe it was 50 years ago. Seems like it was only yesterday, 50 years ago.

Do these guys know anything?

I ran across this website while doing some personal research on the reversal of desertification efforts in Africa and the impact of Global Warming on the effort. (It's good by the way, high temps equal higher humidity, higher rainfall and more temperate winters with a resultant re-greening of the desert).

These guys have this website. I don't know them. But if you are interested in honest and alternative thinking without the radical human caused global warming lobby influence, this may be a site for you to consider.

Don't buy a house just yet

The chart shows the real value of homes, adjusted for inflation, stretching back to 1890. The 100 is a mean that prices are measured above or below for the last century. Prices are completely out of whack in real dollars.

House prices will plunge 25% in the next 5 years. Then buy.

Every run up of anything that runs up too much out of relationship to the market eventually must collapse. Here is an article that talks about it with some intelligence.

Kondratiev identified this in his famous curve. It's a natural wave and a speculative sell off has to occur when things run too long too high.

Trees have tops, what goes up comes down and the cure for too high prices is too high prices.

Of Prophets

Being careful and discriminating is what makes a prophet. I have learned to discern what is ME and what is GOD. I have many strong opinions on a variety of topics. Some of those topics are regarding the Church. Some are regarding interpretation of scripture. They hopefully are interesting but they aren't all prophetic.

Most of them are just me. Don't ever read into what I write about certain things as being a Thus Saith the Lord unless I say so. I'm careful about the mantle.

On the other hand, from time to time I will come to a person with a word. I will tell him or her what I am seeing or hearing regarding them. It is nearly always encouragement (the main purpose of the Prophetic). It is almost never directly corrective. I have to be pretty convinced it's God to go with correction for someone. God uses me prophetically mostly with spiritual leadership. For some reason I am placed as a prophetic watcher over local bodies I am connected to for direction, correction and prophetic insight. Most of the time that is in encouragement as well. For example:

I had a strong encouraging word for the House of Prayer just a week ago. I feel more than ever it is right on the money.

I have one for Faith Center upon the event of groundbreaking fo the new building which I am providing them today.

I have given much prophetically to IPHC's new church plant in Berwyn. And even to our conference E-4. Never for glorification, always for encouragement.

From time to time I even have one for Lord of Life.

The good news is they all seem to be open to hearing and Judging God's word. My responsibility is to offer it, theirs is to judge it. A good friend of mine once told me, A prophet's job is to say what God says. I try to stick to just that. If it ever doesn't line up with the word of God it's just baloney.

That's how it should be. The prophet provides, the hearer listens, then they allow the Spirit of God by his word to embrace with discernment the prophetic word given.

Not every word I been given by every prophet I have ever known has the Spirit of God in me embraced. Some are just "Nice", some are dumb, some are downright disturbing and wrong.

I hear them all, but ultimately they create a framework around a portrait of what God is doing as I embrace them.

It also has to do with the person who carries the prophetic word. What has been their track record? What has been their purpose? What has been their faithfulness? If certain prophetic people gave me a word I might more quickly embrace it than others. It has to do with relationship. Nathan was able to prophesy to David out of relationship.

The prophetic is treacherous territory but essential to the health of any local Body of Christ. There is a protocol. The difficulty in all this means that many denominations eschew anything prophetic. For that reason those that eschew languish. The Body of Christ at large is over committed to the excess of preaching at the expense of the prophetic. Preaching can be prophetic but seldom is. The prophetic can be preachy.
The difference must be in the impact it has on the Spirit and Soul of a person at the time and for the future. If a person hears a great sermon and their lives change permanently for the better that may have been prophetic. If not it was entertainment. Same with a prophetic word. If it helps you stop doing or start doing something you needed to start or stop doing or if it gives you hope or direction for your future that is prophetic. If it is a negative sign and wonder where you wonder what just happened, it's entertainment.

Where I draw the line is in personal prophecy. I like it. I enjoy it when someone I trust has a word for me. I embrace it. Others are just flakes. Some years ago there was a man who had an ad in Charisma Magazine where he would give you a word "of the Lord" if you sent him $500. I didn't. I don't know if anyone did.

Some people's prophetic gift is nothing more than Dear Abby wrapped up in colorful and picturesque language with a quasi Biblical format. Good advice couched in spirituality. That's Dear Abby, not prophetic.

True personal prophecy comes in only a few proven scriptural ways:

One is I know you and the Lord wakes me with a word for you. It matures and I submit it to you in private.

Another is where I pray in the Spirit over you until the Lord shows me what he wants to say to you. That could be in public.

A third is when I purposely fast and pray at length for several days over a situation or person for direction. That should be in public.

None of this is light loving. None is instant. None is flippant.

When I pray for God's prophetic word for the next year, most of it will be encouragement, most of it will be uplifting, some will have some cautions in it. But God never does anything unless he first tells his prophets.

If a person gives personal prophecy without doing what is needed to do it in order, that person is a charlatan. I know of one such. I won't link to her website. It's enchanting stuff. That's the problem, it's enchantment. People who are
spiritually weak are being sucked into her web of deceit.

She routinely gives personal prophecy to individuals she will never meet that could change their lives and not for the better. It's like phoning up that Psychic who used to be on late night TV.

No better. Much worse. She stands in danger of her soul for this taking of the name of the Lord in Vain.

There's one other real big danger signal, she has a significant pattern of not liking or appending her endorsement to any recognized church, ministry or other prophet. Everyone else is wrong except me she says.

That is a red flag of danger.

If you want to email me about this I will direct you to her blog site. It's not a good place to go. She is what gives the Body of Christ a bad taste in their mouths when it comes to the prophetic.

The prime purpose of the Prophetic is edification. Building up. She has that upside down. Seems like she is more bent on tearing down and being a dear Abby than the prophetic. Dangerous stuff.

Email if you want the URL to go there and look, I just wanted to warn you before you did: gredlin@cfaith.com

I love the Prophetic, it's a powerful force for good but can also be one for evil. This is that.

Selective Free Speech

Abinanutjob speaks at Columbia. Martin Luther King's niece who has earned the right to speak on abortion. She is pro life. She is passionate about it. She is a Christian. She also had two abortions.

This is real for her.

But, that was too much for a school in Des Moines IA. So they did not allow her to speak.

Columbia lets a threat to all the world speak.

This is wrong. But free speech is selective and Politically correct, and blatantly liberal.

Porkney's Complaint

I have made some lifestyle changes. I won't tell you all of them but the result of them is less of Gene. My pants fit again.

All that is on the surface really a good thing. It's not without consequence.

I'm a different man. I am cranky. Irritable. Grumpy. And, i don't feel nearly as brilliant as I did.

I know this too will pass. It has to.

I like me better the other way but I'm really better this way.

I did this once before. It was a rough time. Here we go again.

So this is my Porkney's Complaint.

Dummies Sit Down With The Devil

"Leaders" from the world council of churches (whatever that is) sat down to dialog with Abinanutjob from Iran. He's the President in case you didn't now.

What did these people hope to gain or lose? What did they hope they would accomplish with a man committed to their destruction or conversion. Show a little love and hope it all goes away?

Jesus didn't sit down and discuss stuff with Pharisees, he didn't call a council, he didn't seek them out, they sought him out. They came to him. He was very careful in his dealings with them and distant and he called them for what they were.

I guess these spiritual misleaders think they are more wise than Jesus.

How dumb can you get and still breath.

Microsoft Vista is HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE

When I got my laptop in July it came with MS Vista on it. I was told that deinstalling it to put XP on it would be unwise and that I would get used to it.

Well, it's now been two and a half months.
I'm not used to it.

It is buggier and dumber than anything I have seen Microsoft do except for Word 2007 which I have now deinstalled. Don't bother, it's awful. I am not alone in my opinion of Vista.

Try Googling VISTA SUCKS. You will get 2.2 million hits. I paged thru several of the first pages. The anger is palpable. I don't expect that Microsoft cares. This product should be withdrawn from the market, money refunded and an apology given by Bill Gates publicly. If this were a government program the congress would have executives from Microsoft subpoenaed for testimony on how they could have possibly screwed up so badly.

It's not better. It's just bad software. Stupid is a better word. I won't even go in to all the ways it is a huge huge step backwards from XP but it is. Totally incompetent.

I have decided to bite the bullet and format my hard drive and reinstall XP.

You can't downgrade. Why. Get ready for this. The Deathstar Gates will not allow you to downgrade install without paying a fee. So, he got me coming and now he gets me going. Microsoft Vista is HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE

I am angry, irritated, and all around grumpy about this whole thing.

How did we ever get to the place where children without understanding demonically dream up software that doesn't work and then force us to try to use it? That is Microsoft's company policy. Everyone is a beta test site and we pay to be so.

OH, and since I'm sure there is a Microsoft gnome somewhere who is in charge of blogwatching and responding I want to be certain Mr or MS Gnome gets the message. It's like saying anything slightly questioning about the Mormon religion. You immediately have a Mormon Gnome who responds in the form of a comment to your post. It happened to me.

Here is the search engine link language (which also doesn't work on Vista).

Microsoft, Vista, Word 2007, Bad, Poor, Weak, Incompetent, Bill Gates, MS

That's outta get it.

How bout it Mr/MS Gnome. Any comments? I'm waiting.

Tape a Pacifier in the Baby's Mouth

It's all about the money

Horrible Story. Four month old baby found in Knoxville Day Care with a pacifier TAPED in it's mouth. Not scotch tape, Clear packing tape. You know the kind. Inch and a half wide. For closing up cardboard boxes.

Well this closed up more than a cardboard box.

This day care had 24 kids. That's a money maker.

I have questions
  • How much money was the Family being Charged?
  • Why did the mom want to or need to work, shouldn't she still be home with the baby at 4 months?
  • It's hard taking care of a cranky kid, takes time, time is money, so aren't taped pacifiers about the money?

That is child abuse pure and simple. For moralizing liberals, spare me, I know all about how it's Bush's fault that this is all the day care the mom could afford because of Bush policies, that money for oversight isn't there because Bush vetoes stuff for kids, that she has to work because of Bush policies -- blah blah blah.

Michael Vick is going to jail for treating dogs worse than dogs. This is treating a BABY like a dog.

Blogging by The Fire

I'm outside as as I said I wanted to be.  I have my firepot going.  It's dark.

I can't see the keyboard.  I hate Touchpad's.

Phooey.  I'm gonna sit here and look at the fire.

Merry Christmas.

Oh, Little Town of Bethlehem

O little town of Bethlehem,
How still we see thee lie;
Above thy deep and dreamless sleep
The silent stars go by;
Yet in thy dark streets shineth
The everlasting light.
The hopes and fears of all the years
Are met in thee tonight.

For Christ is born of Mary,
And gathered all above,
While mortals sleep the angels keep
Their watch of wondering love.
O morning stars, together
Proclaim the holy birth !
And praises sing to God the King,
And peace to men on earth !

How silently, how silently
The wondrous gift is given !
So God imparts to human hearts
The blessings of His heaven.
No ear may hear His coming;
But in this world of sin,
Where meek souls will receive Him still,
The dear Christ enters in.

O holy Child of Bethlehem,
Descend to us, we pray;
Cast out our sin and enter in,
Be born in us today.
We hear the Christmas angels
The great glad tidings tell,
O come to us, abide with us,
Out Lord Emmanuel !

I'm back inside.  It's a full moon out there.  Beautiful.  Very nice.

But I'm back in the house watching Dancing With the Stars with Peggy.

NPR is a Tool of the Liberal Establishment

Not a big headline. You knew that. But, I have said before that I have never and never will contribute money to NPR or even our local public radio station. I listen. Enjoy much. Hate some.

Contributing to NPR would be like giving the enemy of our country money. Not really but certainly the enemy of what I believe in.

So, I won't.

What brings this tirade and pout on? This article.

NPR is not a fair-minded organization. I won't give then a dime.

The Day Jesus Was Born of Mary

I like to remind people of today. At sundown today the Jewish Calender (which hasn't been polluted by Popes or Kings) begins the celebration of Sukkot, Feast of Booths, Feast of Tabernacles.

This commemorates the protection of the Children of Israel in the desert and lots of other things including hospitality.

For the Christian it should be important because it is in fact the day Jesus was born. So, in an earthly sense, Happy Birthday Jesus.

I won't go into the how this all was polluted by tradition, why Christmas is celebrated in December. I like Christmas. Heck, I'm German (mostly) and in Germany they have a saying, "the Germans invented Christmas". If you ever celebrated Christmas in Germany you'll come to believe they really did. So, I like Christmas. Der Nicholas and all.

If you celebrated MY birthday in June it would be no less a celebration of my birthday. It would honor me. It would just be on the wrong day. That wouldn't take away from the celebration.

So it is with the December 25th date. Great celebration. Wrong Day.

Oh, I'll enjoy the holiday again this year with family and friends. I'll enjoy the Christmas programs. The music that according to my recognition will begin in the shopping malls in two weeks.

However, if you privately want to celebrate the real birth of Jesus tonight at sundown is the time. I will privately do so. I'll build a little fire in a little fire pit and think about it all.

There are many Christian Sukkot celebrations much more elaborate with huge bonfires, eating, sleeping outside, dancing, imbibing and all around good cheer. One such goes on in Missouri. I have considered going.

But, not this year.

So, just to help y0u remember the real birth of Jesus, it's today. More accurately tonight at sundown it begins.

Oh, and if you have questions as to whether or not I'm a crackpot, you can look at this link. The theology that identifies Jesus being born on the first day of Sukkot is well established and believed by many Bible Scholars. Google the question, "what day was Jesus born". There are some of the Bible Code believers that maintain he was born on the first day of the Feast of Trumpets, the Jewish New Year. Rosh Hashanah. Good arguments but Biblically I'm stuck on first day of Succot.

I just don't happen to propagate the whole thing. I mean, my birthday in June is still a celebration. Why would Jesus be upset if we miss the date a bit.

One other thing, John the Disciple Jesus Loved, was assigned by Jesus to care for His mother, John would have asked about the day Jesus was born. It was common knowledge to them. They didn't make a cake but when John writes in the first chapter of his Gospel book he makes an abstract note of it all:

John 1:14 (Amplified Bible)

And the Word (Christ) became flesh (human, incarnate) and tabernacled (fixed His tent of flesh, lived awhile) among us; and we [actually] saw His glory (His honor, His majesty), such glory as an only begotten son receives from his father, full of grace (favor, loving-kindness) and truth.

The use of the word tabernacled is NOT accidental. He was born on the first day of the feast and tabernacled among us. And, we actually SAW his glory? Is that a reference to the pillar of smoke and of fire in the desert as an abstraction but Jesus as the real thing? If you think about this one verse very long you start to see it as John saw it. The real celebration wasn't about his birth or even his death. The real celebration for Christians is and always should be his Resurrection from the dead. That's the pivotal point of all our victory. Price paid full redemption.

Nonetheless, Happy Birthday JESUS.

Great Cover Band or Interpretation?

There are lots of people who make a living covering other peoples songs. Lots. Beatles impersonators, Elvis lookalikes. There is a local band I see from time to time who do Heart songs better than I have ever seen.

That's great in some settings where people want virtual jukebox in a live band. Where we have lost our way is worship leaders who do "covers" of worship songs.

My favorite worship band Corey and the band can really do covers. They do "Rain Down" verbatim. They do all the Hillsong United stuff cold.

When they do, it's good. But, it's better is when they really go deep and take a song and give it a shake up, listen to the words, and flow in new and fresh ways. They can do it so well.

Covering music can be stale. Fresh is better. Much better.

You can't be fresh unless you can flow. Flow comes from the ability to feel and sense what is happening in the Spirit, changing tempo, different cords, going slower, quieter, repeating a passage, sensing the moment. Sometimes playing just ONE NOTE for a very very long time can be right while the tension builds.

While I enjoy the skillful covers Corey and the band can provide, what I really want is music driven and directed by the Spirit of God.

It doesn't need to be an original composition. So many musicians believe there is a rule that the song has to be a carbon copy of one everyone hears or knows or it's not good. For that reason they write original music, some of which can be banal because they can't or won't flow. It only needs to be fresh.

I have heard Bach's Air on a G String played 50 different ways. The essence was there but the color changed with tempo, acceleration, instrumentation, dynamics and much more.

I can listen to a CD any time. It's always the same. It's not bad, it's just the same. I would rather not endure that in Church.

How about something fresh, new, dynamic, sensitive, alive. It doesn't need to be new. Just alive. That's what I really want to hear. Let me know this is more than a processed regurgitation I'll have to endure. If we are doing more than covering tunes and actually leading worship, then lead.

My wife long ago told me the reason I'm not a great worship leader. It's because I play songs instead of worshiping. I don't lead worship because I play songs. It cut me like a knife but she was right. Anyone can play songs. It takes a worshiper to lead worship. A musician who just plays songs is giving a concert and calling it worship. I know, I've done it. I've had to endure it. Put even a small child in front and let them worship and others will follow. We were created to worship. We want to worship. We will follow someone into true worship if they will just show us the way. That's what Leading Worship means.

If you want a flavor of what that sounds like, turn on your speakers, click on one of the songs and listen. Best if you listen to all of them. It's not elegant, polished, professional, or technical. It's rugged, passionate, rich and real. People respond to real. They really do.

Try reaching out to your people with that kind of Spirit and watch what happens.

Soul Prosperity

What does it mean to prosper in your soul?  How does that look.  Is that a real thing?  Or some religious gobbeldy gook.

I am convinced that we do NOT grasp the true meaning of 3 John 1:2  Beloved, I pray that in all respects you may prosper and be in good health, just as your soul prospers.

How would you know how your soul is prospering? Is it possible that ill health results from an unprosperous soul?  Or lack of prosperity rooted in a depauparate soul?  What does it look like to have a prosperous soul?  This is obviously NOT about heaven.  It's about something else.

If we can have a more prosperous soul which will result in good health and earthy prosperity how can that be done?

I think this is a valid question many who deny the higher call need to ask.  What does it mean to prosper in your soul?

The Old Steel Mill isn't coming back

The Autoworkers are on strike.  That makes Michigan an even more desolate place than it was already.

It doesn't matter nobody buys those American cars anymore.  And, if this keeps up we will be shipping them in from Mexico or Canada or Korea since this strike only succeeds in driving productions overseas.

Do they (the autoworkers) have a beef?  Sure.  But not with GM.  It's much deeper than that.  This is an old steam engine someone is trying to restart.  Not gonna happen.

I have a nursery business associate who keeps talking in terms of "back in the day".  I listen.  I try to help him see that day is never coming again.  He has to face what is now and move ahead in that arena.

His problem is he had much success in early years, in the 70's and 80's.  Then he ran into trouble.  Financially.  He can't for the life of him get the old days out of his head.  He's stuck in a time warp.  I have tried to help.  I don't think I can.  This is a trap he fell into and may never exit from.  His mindset is so lost in yesterday he can't deal with what is happening tomorrow.  For that reason he will go in circles till he goes out of business.

It's like the men who used to work at the steel mills on the south shore of Lake Michigan.  Go into coffee shops and you see these old men sitting around telling each other that any day now the old mills will fire back up.  That somebody needs to order a load of coke to get started.

They won't.  There are crooked politicians that will tell them lies for votes.  We'll stand up for you.  For what?  It's gone.  The buggy whip is out of use.

So it is with all kinds of careers.  I read a quote from a young man in guideposts today.  He has become a billionaire.  He's barely out of his teens.  When asked how he did it his answer was, "I went to seminars and meetings no one else wanted to go to, I met with people everyone else already discarded, I involved myself with things everyone else knew all about and were too important to attend."

A friend of mine often says that the key to success is drinking from fresh wells from time to time.

It's true.
It's particularly true in Church Work. If all the fellowship you experience is what you have ever experienced you will stagnate, go stale and be stuck.  I know.  I have been there.  No one cares what you did in your last Church.  How you had such great success.  I have a young pastor friend who talks fondly of the old days when he was preaching to large crowds at 21 years old.  Those days are gone.  In ministry it is particularly insidious to live in yesterday.  Bill Clinton's theme song was Don't Stop.  The lyrics are apt in this context, right and even if I'm not a Clinton Fan, helpful.

Don't stop, thinking about tomorrow,
Don't stop, it'll soon be here,
It'll be, better than before,
Yesterday's gone, yesterday's gone.

My friend in the nursery business needs to put behind him all the success he ever had.  It's irrelevant today.  All that matters now is the future.

That's not just good advice, it's biblical:

Philippians 3:12 - 14 (NIV)
Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.

How the Iranian News Networks Reported the Columbia Speech

What Follows is what the Iranian Press (which the world's press will quote as gospel) said about Ah-bin-a-nut-job's appearance at Columbia yesterday:

Despite entire US media objections, negative propagation and hue and cry in recent days over IRI President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s scheduled address at Colombia University, he gave his lecture and answered students questions here on Monday afternoon.

On second day of his entry in New York, and amid standing ovation of the audience that had attended the hall where the Iranian President was to give his lecture as of early hours of the day, Ahmadinejad said that Iran is not going to attack any country in the world.

Before President Ahamadinejad’s address, Colombia University Chancellor in a brief address told the audience that they would have the chance to hear Iran’s stands as the Iranian President would put them forth.

He said that the Iranians are a peace loving nation, they hate war, and all types of aggression.

Referring to the technological achievements of the Iranian nation in the course of recent years, the president considered them as a sign for the Iranians’ resolute will for achieving sustainable development and rapid advancement.

The audience on repeated occasion applauded Ahmadinejad when he touched on international crises.

At the end of his address President Ahmadinejad answered the students’ questions on such issues as Israel, Palestine, Iran’s nuclear program, the status of women in Iran and a number of other matters.

That certainly worked out well, didn't it? Ah-bin-a-nut-job cleaned our clock and we looked like fools to the rest of the world. Thank you well meaning liberal academics. You were warned.

He (Ah-bin-a-nut-job) got the platform, the forum and the legitimacy he sought by coming to America courtesy of the useful idiots.

Let's not do that again, OK?

When 2 1/2 Hours seems like 30 Minutes

Last night was a groundbreaking night for me.  Peggy and I were sitting under the prophetic and apostolic anointing of John Eckhardt who was a guest at Faith Center in Rockford.  He is the only legitimate territorial apostle for the Chicagoland Region.  I know of no other.

The meeting started at 6 pm and was still rumbling at 8:40 as we left.  The service was dismissed at 8:30 but people didn't leave.  It was one of those nights.

I got amazing clarity of my purpose during the meeting.  Not by what was said but by what was imparted.   I knew it before but this sealed it for me.

When the anointed of God are speaking the oracles of God I could sit still all day.

That's what the puritans did.  We often wonder how  they could sit all day in a meeting and not faint.

I don't.  Not if the anointing was there.

On the other hand if it's not, people start fidgeting and looking at their watches at the 61st minute of a service.

What is astounding is there was a packed house.  Hundreds and Hundreds of people, and they stayed.

How could you leave?

Unless your heart were so hard you had already determined to not hear like the Pharisees of old. Then, you would fidget at 61 minutes.

What's funny for me is if I go to a play or the opera and the first act is over 90 minutes long I get edgy.  Not here.  I never flinched. Why?

The anointing.

I could have stayed home and watched the Bears.  I did see the last few minutes of the game.  They lost with or without me.

Barry Kolb has a good post on parity.   Baseball, football and Church.  I don't know if I understand baseball and football parity enough to explain that but I do understand the unique factor that sets a church apart.

Yoke Destroying Anointing.

Everything else is window dressing.  Good Preaching, lively music, nice building, friendly folks, etc.  Gotta have all that but you still need to see out the window.  The anointing is what allows you to see.

Dots connected

Now I get it. Ahmadinejihad is speaking at Columbia University.

One of it's alumna has been held in Iranian jail.

That Alumna works for George Soros, noted American Hater and Treason sponsor.

Iran releases the jailed Alumna.

Soros contributes big bucks to Columbia.

Ahmadinejihad speaks at Columbia.

No quid pro quo there.

Dots connected.

It's Always God's Will for People to be Healed, Always!

The Blessed Economist is one of my favorite reads. He, Ron, is an economist and sometimes loses me. But when it comes to theology we are in total sync (except for the war, where he's wrong ;>).

He has two brilliant articles he has written for all Christian Leaders regarding Healing Evangilism and Healing in the Church. They are long but if you care about healing, being healed, sickness as an invader in your life and the Churches part in healing then you must read these two articles. They will take about 7 minutes of your time. It will be worth every minute.

I think they are brilliant and make a distiction between evangilistic healing and covenant healing.

Here's the post (and my comment) with the links. Click out to the links. If you truly grasp it you may never be sick again a day in your life.

READ THE WHOLE THING

I smell a gap

As an old futures trader I am always on the lookout for gaps.

I just spotted one. Here's a simple article explaining the gap. This is not a continuation gap, this is an exhaustion gap.

The Euro, Oil, Gold, and on the downside, the dollar.

The disparity and push against all odds has caused a universal oversold position in the dollar against all other players.

Don't get me wrong, the dollar has declined against other benchmarks, but the 1.41 dollars to the Euro has all the earmarks of an exhaustion gap, a top that is just touched but tenuous and due to collapse.

The others will follow.

Talk about irrational exuberance. It is on the other side.

So, in the next few weeks you will see some return to sanity. The press won't tell you. I just did.

This is not Free Speech - just stupid

Liberals will stand up and cheer, you just wait. They have no patriotism.

Iran's nutcase president Ahmadinejihad is visiting the USA.

He wanted to go to ground zero to present a plaque. I have my doubts if that was a plaque commemorating the firefighters or those who died in the towers.

My guess is it was in honor of the 19 “brave Islamic martyrs” who flew the plane into the things on 9-11 and murdered 3000 people. It would have somehow noted Islam’s greatest victory over the west in 800 years.

But in view of liberal idiocy, Columbia University (which took out an 18" cross so from the chapel in fear it might offend someone), yes that same Columbia university that invited a big-time Nazi official in the late 30's and gave him an honor after he spoke. Yes that same university who while Hitler and his goons were burning books written by Jews they sent delegation to Heidelberg in honor of the 550th anniversary. The same college who’s President just said they would have invited Hitler to speak back during the war.

That renowned institution is having nutcase Iranian president Ahmadinejihad come to speak.

Here's is what Ahmadinejihad, if he were honest, should explain to the Columbian audience:

  • How he will deal with the homosexual population in his country and in ours when he invades.
  • What he will do about abortion when he comes.
  • What he will to encourage feminism when he takes over
  • How he will encourage free speech when he becomes our leader
  • The approach he will use to dealing with labor unions
  • The transsexual in Iran and how they are tolerant towards them
  • His platform regarding religious freedom
  • The way his administration will embrace openly lesbian people like Rosie.
  • The way he plans to have tolerance for drug use and alcoholic beverages
  • His personal opinion on Same Sex Marriage

All this will be forgiven when he describes what he will do when he takes over the USA, just as long as at the end he says, “I hate America and George Bush” The liberals will clap, cheer and give him a standing Ovation.

They hate Bush much more than they love this country. This is not free speech. This is stupid is as stupid does. These are the same people who can't pass a 60 question civics test. People who don't understand our history, our country and our government. These are dupes. They shouldn't be allowed to vote.

PS: If you are a liberal I'm still waiting for the report on well you did on the civics test that most liberals can't pass.

This guy in Colorado is going to be first on his feet for the standing O.

He can't pass a simple civics test either.
