If we did this in IL there would be far less crime... I was born there, you didn't mess with folks because nearly everyone has a gun. Now everyone will. There is a great deal of respect given and received in a well armed citizenry. This is the Law in Switzerland. Little gun crime there.
Five South Dakota lawmakers have introduced legislation that would require any adult 21 or older to purchase a firearm sufficient to provide for their ordinary self-defense.
I understand that the a democrat wants to amend the bill so that the potential buyer must sign a document that he promises never to use it. The rumor is that he had a hard time deciding on that bill or one to give vouchers to buy the gun...(to stimulate the economy)
