You have wondered why I am so down on windmills. There are lots or reasons...but this is not the least. I feed the bats and have bat houses on my property. It's pitiful that this kind of stupidity remains. AND BUSH STARTED IT

Gene, that's just terrible. I lived in Tehachapi, CA where there are thousands of windfarms in the mountains. I never thought about the bats, and they are such good critters! When I go back in the fall, I will look into this. There are many people who house bats, since there are so many crops that depend on insect control and pollination.
