I AGREE with this. College Football is out of control. IF there is a demand for a Jr NFL (which is all college football amounts to) then let it stand independent of colleges. The money time and energy spent on college football and many other collegiate sports is obscene. I just saw an article on BTN about the new Husker sports complex being built in Lincoln. Beyond the pale. The stadium in AMES IA for football is larger by half then Soldier field.

Something is very wrong. Student Athletes should be students first. IF you think about this, this whole mess is a metaphor for the problems in the western church. Spectator mentality. Money on facilities. The few for glory, the mass for money.
