The best way to understand all this is to understand the perspective of Gods heart. And how you would think. consider you having a child and your desire for her is to love her, help her give her your best, lead teach her to get to know you and her Dad, her brothers sisters etc within your house.
Now consider your child whom you love at the age of 14 years, beautiful and who is also un-knowledgeable to the world, and vulnerable. She see's every man who smiles at her as innocently liking her and she befriends a house full of rapists or wild men who play to her in experience, ignorance and vulnerabilities .... And they work against you, your house, your love and your best intentions simply to further their lusts and desires while playing to the concept of what she thinks things really are and "HER RIGHTS" to chose what she wants .... HOW WOULD YOU FEEL? ---
God loves HIS creation though not all created will love Him back. He is a Jealous God Like you would be for your own children. God loves it when we seek spiritual things, and knowing THAT is a reality is one of many beginnings. If we know this it is right and logical to seek the Lord first for understanding and wisdom .. WHEN we do we wont just see a spirit, we will SEE it all from the mountain top down along side the Lord. The enemy knows how to distract people on rabbit trails....Just a thought
