Ist Das Boot Voll?

Das Boot ist voll.... This keeps ringing in my ears as the immigration debate rages on. I have been a supporter of LEGAL immigration. A supporter of those among us who will pull their weight, embrace the Culture that America reveres and become part of what builds this country. My grandparents were just such. Didn't speak English much. Yet, they loved this nation, they revered it, they became American. I know we hear a lot about Mexicans trying to wave the Mexican flag and all in California. MOST of the Hispanics I know and work with are assimilating well and becoming contributors to our society. We have murdered 50 million children since 1973 who are not going to help this country grow. There is no one to take their place. The replacement rate among native born Americans is less than the death rate. We are not forming families and having children.

Where I object is to those who will NOT embrace our culture. Those who demand that we follow traditions and laws and language they brought from their broken countries. Muslims are foremost offenders in this when they attempt to impose sharia law. Hindus are less. YET... havering worked along side many Pakistanis here and in England there is a cultural difference. They do not embrace all we hold dear.

The Muslim more' in dealing with infidels (you and me) is that it is OK to lie and Cheat to those inferior.

That is the flaw our President has. He things they believe what he imputes to them. They don't. His catastrophic foreign policy is rooted in his naivete regarding those of the Muslim faith. His soft heart towards them is part of his upbringing and he believes a myth.

I will rather take the Lopez or Sanchez family, catholic, hard working, eats at McDonalds, and works hard to make it happen as a neighbor any day. They are builders.

IF I must say Das Boot ist Voll... it will be to those who's intention from the get go is to sink it. Our Hispanic immigrants are a gift we don't understand. I know I am about to get kicked out of the conservative party. YET, Rubio is right. We have to make this work. We can't keep winking at it.

There is one other thing. The competition they bring to the work force, better, stronger, smarter, makes us all better. When I work with a group of Mexicans.. I am always pushed to excellence. Not so much when I work with many born here.

Welcome. There's room in Das Boot for you.

“ET, Rubio is right. We have to make this work. We can't keep winking at it.”

Gene, Gene. This is what I have to say about Marco Rubio.

We need an immigration policy that works for the benefit of America. What we are getting is legislation that works for re-electing politicians.

During the early process of the immigration bill, Rubio stated that he would enforce a border fence first and then implement a pathway to citizenship. But, he betrayed his party and his own word by voting to pass legislation that does not secure the border. In fact, this bill encourages illegal residents to bring other family members into this country.

Most Americans have been wanting and even demanding the southern border secured before having discussions about fixing the status of illegal immigrants. This has been going on for 15 to 25 years? The border is not secured because the politicians do not want what the citizens want.

Our politicians put their quest to get re-elected above everything else. They elevate the desires of illegal aliens above the very citizens they represent expecting to obtain more votes from the Hispanic community. Rubio is trying to have it both ways.

Found this headline from Breitbart:

Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) said late Tuesday that he supports securing the United States border with Mexico with a double-tiered fence but voted against an amendment to the “Gang of Eight” immigration bill that would have required exactly that.

I was a Rubio supporter but not now. Allen West anyone?

Tonight on Hannity, Rubio claims that he voted against the fence provisions because the language of the amendments weren't tough enough. There will be a proposal out tomorrow that he will support.

How can I trust someone who answers this question from Hannity: “There is a lot of anger in the conservative community over this bill because the feeling is that this bill does not do what it said it would do, that is to secure the border first.”

With this answer:

Rubio replied, “First of all, obviously border security is critical. But, here is why it is critical. America is a special country. People want to come here from all over the world. In fact it is so special some people are willing to risk their lives to get here illegally. We understand that.

But, on the other hand we are a sovereign country. And every sovereign country on the planet has the right to defend its borders and its sovereignty. And so that is why border security is so critical. And that is why we're going to have to step up what we do with border security. And that is why it was one of the founding principles of this bill when it came out. Border security needed to be a prominent feature of this bill. Now since we introduced it, I've asked people for their input and they have raised valid concerns...” Here is where Rubio announces that tomorrow his republican colleagues will significantly and substantially increase the border security parts of the bill.

What a painful answer.
