Despite
a raucous crowd and a big-name line-up of speakers including U.S. Sen.
Dick Durbin, Gov. Pat Quinn, Attorney General Lisa Madigan and
Comptroller Judy Baar Topinka, the proposal appears to remain short of
the needed 60 votes to become law. JUDY
BAAR TOPINKA?? If you want to understand the reality, the need to be
accepted and liked drives a political person like Topinka. It is also
why a RINO is dangerous. Do you think ONE PERSON at that rally thought
to themselves, wow, Judy Baar... maybe I'll give the republican party
another look... not likely.
