The kids aren't alright

One year ago, Lena Carson was pulling straight A’s at the city’s Creative and Performing Arts School across the river from her parent’s home. She also swam every day at the local YMCA in preparation to compete at the annual state competition and enjoyed the everyday social life of a teenager.

Today, she is sitting at home. Again.

It has been nearly a year since she walked into CAPA, a magnet school she had to earn admission to through a portfolio of her work, and interacted with her teachers or friends.

Her daily swims are gone, along with her social life. Her outside activities have diminished to walking the dog around the block. . . .

A bright student who skipped a grade, her straight A’s have dipped to D’s, and Lena says she struggles to complete assignments, not because she can’t but because of the lost will. “I have nothing to look forward to,” she said.

There was an interview with Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen about the Gamestop Robinhood Reddit events of the past week or so.  She said:

"Secretary Yellen believes the integrity of markets is important and has asked for a discussion of recent volatility in financial markets and whether recent activities are consistent with investor protection and fair and efficient markets," Treasury Department spokesperson Alexandra LaMann told FOX Business on Wednesday.

I heard the interview.  She actually said that the government needs to consider trader's safety and protection.  She doesn't mean you and me.  She means the big guys.

This is insidious.  Hateful.

When you see the armed camp that is now our nation's capital, the cry is for safety and security.  We have troops on the ground.  

When you hear anyone say "it's for your own good, your own protection, your own safety"  remember who they are imitation.  Hitler's Nazi Germany.

They are Afraid. They Should be.

 Much has been and is being revealed about the illegal and corrupt events of the last year.  Much that had to do with the Covid overkill.  The fake news media in overdrive.  An actual coup.  Now that it is being exposed, the other side is using the specter of FEAR of Violence by out side as a foil against us.  At  the same time BLM and ANTIFA are screaming "Burn it to the Ground".  This misdirection is intentional. Designed to silence righteous indignation.

Now that we know the truth what are we supposed to do?  Stay silent?  Shut up and look away.  NO.  NEVER.  We need to be clever, wise and well able to stand against this evil.  Do not be intimidated, be informed. Don't be smoke-screened or gaslighted.  Even if you best friend or even a relative says otherwise, follow your nose.  Truth will hurt the deceivers.  

You can see it, you are just choosing to reconcile the irreconcilable because it is more comforting to ignore the truth of it. You are scared:

            You are scared of being labeled
            You are scared of being belittled
            You are scared of being Alinsky’d.
            You are scared of being targeted.
            You are scared because you have never been here before.
            You are scared of being right.

Just be honest. Avoidance has become your survival mechanism.  STOP IT!
