Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) sounded off on the barriers and continued heavy police presence at the U.S. Capitol a month after a group of former President Donald Trump’s supporters stormed and breached the Capitol.Johnson told host Maria Bartiromo that the heavy law enforcement presence is to “send a signal” to Trump supporters that they are “dangerous” and “insurrectionists.” “Obviously, leaders in Congress think walls and barriers work because they’ve surrounded the Capitol with them,” Johnson joked.
