Blacks can never be racist. Whites are always racist, even if they don't try to be.

Blacks have the right to make blacks only organizations like the Black Student Union and the Congressional Black Caucus. Whites don't.

Rich black people have a right to be rich. Rich white people don't.

Black people are excused when they are prejudiced against white people. White people are never excused for prejudice against black people.  Black people are a "protected class." White people are not.

Violent crimes by whites on blacks are "hate crimes." Violent crimes by blacks on whites are just "random" crimes.  Black on Black crime is blamed on Guns.

Blacks have "civil rights". Whites don't.

Blacks are in prison because of racism. Whites are in prison because they're criminals.

Blacks have the right to put a halt to any policy, statement, symbol, statistic, outcome, word or expression they find offensive. Whites have no such rights.

White people everywhere, and at all times, bear guilt for the crimes of a minority of white people in the past (e.g., slave owners, Adolf Hitler). Making blacks bear guilt, as a race, for the despicable crimes of their criminal minority is stereotyping, racist, and an insult to reason; after all, no one should ever be blamed for the acts of some unrelated person.

White people need to undergo diversity/sensitivity training. Black people don't.

Blacks have the right to never be portrayed as criminals or lowlifes in films or on TV (unless they are Nigerians). Bad guys on the screen must always be White.

Black criminals have the right to have their race censored in media reports.

Forcing whitey to apologize shows black power and clout. Whites can never force blacks to apologize because that would constitute a lynching.

It can be publicly admitted that blacks are superior to Whites in certain pursuits (i.e. basketball). It can never be publicly admitted that Whites are superior to blacks in other pursuits (i.e. winning Nobel prizes in science). When blacks are overrepresented in a desirable field, it is due to their abilities. When Whites are overrepresented in a desirable field, it is due to racism. When blacks are overrepresented in an undesirable field, it is due to racism. When Whites are overrepresented in an undesirable field, it is their own fault.

Society has gone nuts.

The O-man, Barack Hussein Obama, is an eloquently tailored empty suit. No resume, no accomplishments, no experience, no original ideas, no understanding of how the economy works, no understanding of how the world works, no balls, nothing but abstract, empty rhetoric devoid of real substance.
He has no real identity. He is half-white, which he rejects. The rest of him is mostly Arab, which he hides but is disclosed by his non-African Arabic surname and his Arabic first and middle names as a way to triply proclaim his Arabic parentage to people in Kenya . Only a small part of him is African Black from his Luo grandmother, which he pretends he is exclusively.

What he isn't, not a genetic drop of, is 'African-American,' the descendant of enslaved Africans brought to America chained in slave ships. He hasn't a single ancestor who was a slave. Instead, his Arab ancestors were slave owners. Slave-trading was the main Arab business in East Africa for centuries until the British ended it.
Let that sink in: Obama is not the descendant of slaves, he is the descendant of slave owners. Thus he makes the perfect Liberal Messiah.
It's something Hillary doesn't understand - how some complete neophyte came out of the blue and stole the Dem nomination from her. Obama mania is beyond politics and reason. It is true religious cults, whose adherents reject Christianity yet still believe in Original Sin, transferring it from the evil of being human to the evil of being white.
Thus Obama has become the white liberals' Christ, offering absolution from the Sin of Being White. There is no reason or logic behind it, no faults or flaws of his can diminish it, no arguments Hillary could make of any kind can be effective against it. The absurdity of Hypocrisy Clothed In Human Flesh being their Savior is all the more cause for liberals to worship him: Credo quia absurdum, I believe it because it is absurd.
Thank heavens that the voting majority of Americans remain Christian and are in no desperate need of a phony savior. He is ridiculous and should not be taken seriously by any thinking American.
And yet he got elected, not once but twice. Thanks to those who did not think it was important to vote for freedom and those who were willing to give up their freedoms for entitlements.
Remember you don't have to be on a southern plantation to be a slave, if you are dependent on government entitlements you just have a different slave owner.

We need to start treating our Children like a DOG

When I was training to be an instructor for Dale Carnegie in the 70s I had an instructor trainer ask me a hard question.  "Do you love her (one of the classmembers) enough to help her not sit down on failure". 

I had been hard on the young girl, I had not allowed her to err and improve.  As a result she ended up in tears. 

I learned from that.. correction must be appropriate and helpful, not harsh.

Then the other day I was in a store where they sell pet supplies.  I was there with a friend.  I have no pet.  Did, don't want one anymore.  I was stunned by the amount of "stuff" (there is a better word, but not right for this blog) that there is available for dogs and cats.  WAY OVER THE TOP STUFF.  

People love their animals.

They feed them, hold them, pet them, talk to them, love on them, protect them, take them with and allow the pet to enjoy but not so much that they are subject to harm.  They don't demean them for making a mistake.  They forgive.  They would never abuse nor hurt their pet. They pay big money to people able to train them.  If they get sick they will spend amazing amounts of money on vet bills to get them well. I watched the horse race yesterday and had the same impression.  People spend an awful lot on animals.

Parents of successful children treat them pretty well.  They know their legacy is wrapped up in that child. That the child's behavior will be a reflection of who the pareents are.  Just like in horseracing.  They feed, clothe, correct, school, train, encourage and never abuse the child. They are very careful NOT to allow the child to be in a place of danger.

We know there is a hope for tomorrow and we know where business leaders will come from.  The children of parents who treat their kids like a dog. (Pet Dog). 

I see lots of kids running wild on the streets, late at night, getting hurt, some killed, hanging out with all the wrong kind, ingesting things that a 15 year old boy or girl shouldn't be ingesting.

If they let their dog loose like this they would be arrested, or at a least fined.

The question is, in our broken culture, do we really love our children enough.  I'm not talking about just TELLING them you love them, not just hugging them, not just celebrating milestones.  I'm talking about every day treating them as if they were growing.  Allowing for mistakes but correcting.  We are losing a generation because of bad parenting.  I know many have absent parents (mothers or fathers).  I know they are doing the best they can do.  Yet when I see the statistics and the news, it's not enough.  we need to do better.

It's time to make a change. 

See everything, overlook a great deal, correct a little.

Life starts out so simple, but it soon becomes defined by the choices we make. Make good ones

Minimum Wage is Unfair Pay

I have a nursery. I hire people to work in it.  Black, White, Hispanic, Male, Female.

I usually let them get their feet wet at an hourly wage.  Then at some point I offer them a raise from the Ten Bucks an hours I pay to start.

I offer them Piecework. If you don't know what piecework is, it is you do work, we count how many you did and we pay you for results.

Right now is weed pulling time.  It lasts about a month.  To get the ball rolling today I brought the crew together and found the weediest bunch of plants I could find.

I weeded for 15 minutes.  Did 33 plants.  Then I took 5 more minutes to pick up the scrap weeds I had pulled and put them back in order carefully.  5 to a row. Ten rows wide. Then a new set.  1/3rd of an hour.

Then we had the discussion.  At $10 per hour, how much should you be paid to do this work if it were equal opportunity.  They all agreed that at the rate I worked about ten cents each.  I was doing this at the rate of 99 per hour.

OK, I hustled.  I knew that at the end I was done demonstrating. I also pointed out that I am more than 3 times any of their ages.  AND My wife who helps is faster at this than I am. She's fearless.

I offered to have her come out and demonstrate.  They declined.

Then I made a big offer. I said, not ten cents per plant, but twelve cents.  That way they can make Twelve dollars per hour bonus CASH over their hourly without any trouble if they work about my pace.

I have done this every year.  Here's the most interesting part. They won't all make it.  I usually lose half by this, the ones remaining are pretty good if they survive.

The ladies can't keep up.  They run out of steam. It's hard stoop labor. The young guys don't know how to pace twelvemonth and wear out quickly.  The Hispanics run circles around the rest.  And sadly my black friends who offer to work, never come back after one day.  Other things "Come up".

So the question is, if the Hispanics earn $16 per hour under this system, the Ladies $7 per hour, the white boys just under $9 and the brothers end up equal with the ladies at $7, would they all deserve a minimum wage?  Isn't there such a thing as merit pay?  IF a person can produce more, shouldn't they get more?

This is NOT about race, it is about the results of when piecework reveals work ability and ethic.

It is about the insanity of forcing companies to pay everyone equal.. if it must be equal, let's lower it to allow kids to learn to work.. these boys, the fellows from Aurora, never got that basic how to work training.

We are not doing ourselves any good with a minimum wage.

With gratitude and thanks to my father, Earl Redlin, and my son David Kendall and daughter-in-law Heather Kendall for their service to our country. I am going to repost something I posted last Memorial Day. I am going to add a little more of my father's thoughts after visiting the military cemeteries at Anzio and Florence, Italy.

Today, I read through a 27 page handwritten account of the war years written by my father, Earl Redlin, about 20 years ago. At the end, he writes of his trip back to Anzio, Italy with my mother and other members of the 34th Signal Company in 1985. He was quite moved by his visit to the US military cemetery there. The following is part of what he wrote:

"If there is beauty in a cemetery, then it can certainly be said of our military cemeteries. They are well kept and immaculate beyond description. And for those who have loved ones buried there, they could not ask for a more beautiful resting place. In this cemetery, are 4189 marble crosses of known dead. There are 213 unknown which have the inscription: "Here rests in honored glory, a comrade in arms known but to God". Two crosses mark the multiple burials of two unknowns whose remains could not be separated. Five pairs of brothers are buried side by side. The ages of soldiers buried there was very shocking because most were from 19-22 years of age.

This cemetery has a memorial; and by this time, you ask yourself these questions: "Did this really happen? Is such carnage necessary for the price of freedom? To know that this is only one of dozens of American cemeteries around the world convinces one that there was a great sacrifice by so many.

After 2 to 3 hours at the cemetery, we returned to the bus. Very little was said because we all had a lump in our throats. Sadness of what we saw, reminded us of what we have seen when Vietnam and Korean Veterans visit their memorials and are overcome with grief and love for their fellow soldiers.

As the bus left, one thought came to me: “Those buried here cannot speak - What would they want to say or what message would they want to give to their fellow Americans?” I believe their message would be this: “Tell our country that we loved it so much that we gave our lives for it, and our sacrifices were not in vain. Tell them not to forget us, and to enjoy all the beauty of life we could not have. And if time should erode their memory, remind them again - and again. Don’t forget us”

Tonight when I go to bed, I may hear the drone of a plane above. I’ll go to sleep knowing that it probably is a peaceful plane flying to a peaceful destination without bombs of destruction. This is the security I fought for."

Thank you, Dad, and all veterans. Because of you, we are the most fortunate people on the face of the earth.

The seats of governing authority, the high places, have been the scene of many battles throughout biblical history. Such was the case in Gideon’s day. Gideon knew of Israel’s mighty deliverance from the evil bondages of Pharaoh in Egypt. Unfortunately, that historic liberty from economic slavery and a demonic government was progressively polluted and the greatness of Jehovah had drifted from the national persona.

  Those in Gideon’s generation were plundered by Midianites and Amalekites that invaded their lands yearly stealing their crops and “destroying their increase.” As Gideon sat pondering his nation’s fate in the light of God’s promises he had an encounter with the angel of the Lord. During that meeting, the Lord called Gideon “a mighty man of valor.” This experience brought an awakening in the spirit of Gideon and he saw that apathetic equanimity was not enough—something could be done to free his nation from demonic marauders and restore it back to prominence.

Christians are inspired by this testimony of Gideon, but one must ask how his nation drifted so far from the God of their deliverance? Could it be possible there was a fifth column within the country that slowly weakened the biblical fabric of their nation? Did the “rulers of the darkness of this world” seize the high places of Israel? Today we could refer to those same high places as the “commanding heights” of governing authority over our nation. Because those are places of governing authority they are highly sought after by the enemy who wants to create a new America, one free from the God of their founding fathers. Creating a new America requires occupying the commanding heights.

Smoking cannabis regularly stunts growth in prepubescent boys, scientists have found

Boys who smoke cannabis before puberty could be stunting their growth by more than four inches, a new study suggests.

Researchers found that youngsters who were addicted to the drug were far shorter than their non-smoking peers.

And they also discovered that rather than being a relaxing pass time, smoking dope actually makes the body more stressed in the long term.

"Marijuana use may provoke a stress response that stimulates onset of puberty but suppresses growth rate,” said study leader Dr Syed Shakeel Raza Rizvi, of the Agriculture University Rawalpindi in Pakistan.

Scientists at the Pir Mehr Ali Shah Agriculture University Rawalpindi in Pakistan studied the levels of certain hormones involved in growth and puberty in the blood of 220 non-smoking and 217 cannabis-addicted boys.
Levels of puberty-related hormones such as testosterone and luteinising hormone (LH) were increased in the cannabis smokers. In contrast, growth hormone levels in the group were decreased.
