I guess the lessons of the Anglican Episcopal Church have been lost on leadership.
Everything from here on out is down hill.

what an outrageous decision, atfer so much time spent on the subject by intelligent(?) theologians who are to follow biblical principles! Martin Luther has rolled over in his grave, sat up,stood up,and has shaken his finger AGAIN at this group of "Lutherans" who claim the Bible for their authority (?) . . .. it is a new exegesis controlled by the hermeneutics of public opinion. ....Harold H.

Apostasy. Clear and simple
Yeah, well, wake up...the decline started in 1987. Why not leave the ELCA and return to confessional roots?
