Mass Hysteria

A third of the students from our local high school have called in sick. Not coming. Giving in to the flu.

A third.

OK. I was a student once. This is baloney.

I would call it mass hysteria, but the reality is probably opportunism.

This is a rich area I live in and these are kids of Privilege.

So, calling in sick just because is par for the course.

You hate people not like you. You hate people like you. You are making a judgement about these kids based on NO data except your own petty negative hatred of 'priveledge'. How sad you are. You don't know any of them or what causes or issues or interests they have. Fox News has certainly stirred up the scare, both of the 'pandemic' and the vaccine. What rot your side is.

We had 3 swine flu confirmed cases of students who were all in the same band at our school. Every day I have had at least 1/3 of the students missing from my classes. Three weeks ago I had the flu/virus/whateveritwasbug and every day it was awful with another symtom. Started as a headache, then went into stuffed up head, then the sore throat, and eventually the non-productive cough. Missed 2 days of school. The good thing is that now I hopefully have immunity. It is nothing to mess with. Everyone can get it, no matter what social status you have. I did, and I am a poor school teacher. Love, sister Barbie
