Here's what could happen:
Obama understands he is terminal as President of the USA. No chance of re election.
Joe Biden keeps on being Joe Biden.
Obama fires Biden or at least advises him to resign.
Biden steps down and retires or becomes ambassador to the UN or some such.
Hillary becomes VEEP.
Then before Obama finishes his term he resigns. Hillary becomes President.
Hillary appoints him to the Supreme Court after she is elected in 2012.
I think Obama would like that. And it makes sense to me.
