Los Angeles Teachers' Union President calls for a massive boycott of the LA Times for publishing the effect of more than 6000 elementry school teachers on students' learning after analyzing test scores for 7 years. In a year, top 10% teachers increased English scores by 17% & math scores by 25% more than the bottom 10% teachers. In late Aug, an online data base of 6000 teachers ratings will be published.
