I listened to the press conference. Every time Barack said "Electric Cars" I shuddered. WHY do presidents insist on backing stupid energy saving ideas. Bush did it too. Remember Fuel Cells, Hybrids and Windmills? AND it was under his watch that we ended up with the goofy twisty bulb mandate. PLEASE, Mr Pres, you... were elected to govern, not pretend you are Thomas Edison. You aren't. Neither was Bush.
