This is actual text from a book about Obama
http://eagnews.org/teachers-3rd-grade-lesson-presents-messianic-view-of-obama-literally/
In one passage, a young Obama sees beggars and wonders, “Will I ever be able to help people like these?”
“Hope hung deep inside of him,” the book adds.
Another excerpt from the book reads: “Before dawn each morning, Barry rose – his mother’s voice driving him from dream land. ‘Time for learning English grammar and the Golden Rule. Be honest, be kind, be fair,’ she taught him.”
The story continues: “One morning, he slipped on the name he’d been born with. The name of his father, Barack. For the first time in his life, he wore it proudly – like a coat of many colors.”
Uh oh – another Obama-inspired Biblical reference in a government school! But there’s no controversy here. Leftists will use God and the Bible, in instances such as these, when it appropriately fits their propaganda purposes.
No
story about Barack Obama would be complete without mentioning his work
as a community organizer. The book describes those days in dramatic
fashion:
“The work was grueling, with stretches of failure, and puny patches of success. Door-to-door Barack went, early mornings, late nights, pleading and preaching, coaxing strangers to march together, to make life better for everyone.
“He worked as hard as a farmer, planting the words ‘Yes, we can!’ like seeds in spring.
“Impatient, Barack kept wondering if those seeds would ever sprout. He worried that the hope in him would fade away.”

American Humanist Association sues teacher who prayed for sick student
The
allegations from the American Humanist Association are shocking,
titillating, and (cue the 1950s soap opera organist) downright
scandalous.
This is what liberal Democrat progressives truly believe.
They spit in the
face of God. If you can somehow hybridize your faith in God with being a
liberal Democrat you are better than I am. This is out and out
blasphemy. they may not fear hell today but someday they will know the
truth but it will be too late..
Did you know that Black Friday wasn't always the busiest shopping day of the year?
That didn't happen until 2003? Ten years later it has been
ingrained in our society. People act like crazed animals trampling each
other over a discount. The media adds to
this by making it seem like it's some kind of time honored tradition. I
guess the movie "They Live" may not be as far fetched as it seems. Over
the next two days put the sunglasses on and look for the signs that say
CONSUME.

The last time it happened was

As a public service, here are some common phrases used in the church, along with their English-language equivalents (Thanks to one of my pastor friends, whom I will let remain anonymous):
Christianese: "If it be God's will."
Translation: "I really don't think God is going to answer this one.
Christianese: "Let's have a word of prayer."
Translation: "I am going to pray for a long, long, long time."

Repeating stupidity
November
24th – Since a similar deal with North Korea in 1993 went so well, the
lib media, who would rather eat glass than report on the latest
Obamacare failure, is ecstatic about the
deal with Iran. But do you know who else is turning cartwheels? None
other than Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei himself. From
the Islamic Republic News Agency: “Supreme Leader hails efforts of
nuclear negotiating team” Isn’t that nice, only last Wednesday the now
happy Ayatollah addressed tens of thousands of Basij militiamen all
shouting “Death to America” and “Death to Israel.” Khamenei soon joined
in on the fun, saying Israelis “cannot be called human beings.” So as
Iran plays the proverbial shell game, the EU and China gets their oil,
Russia increases its role as world power broker, the Middle East will
soon be in a nuclear arms race and O gets a tee-shirt that reads: “I
threw Israel under the bus!” What could go wrong? Leave it to our
clueless media to trust a regime that exports terrorism and an American
administration that has lied and been wrong about everything else! P
We have either very stupid people in Washington or very evil.
It's
high time you low information people that believe the news, MSNBC and
what president Obama says in his speeches hear the truth. This deal
with IRAN is a catastrophe. Sadly you will be spoon fed by the media
and the propaganda machine to make you think this is a great leap
forward. The administration has done nothing right in foreign policy for
5 years and this was extraordinarily stupid. My
only hope is that no newspapers or news information feeds have been
available to the mullahs in Iran for the last decade as North Korea has
manipulated the USA in exactly the way Iran is about to. Israel has
been sold out and the world will suffer.
There is a solution to this "Game". It's not unprecedented.
I think (and I
am serious here) anyone no matter the age who is arrested and convicted
for this should no go to prison but rather to a training camp to prepare
them for battle. They already know how
to maim and in some cases kill. Jail would be expensive and a waste.
Then in 6 weeks of training they are uniformed, given hand weapons (no
firearms) and put in villages and cities all over Afghanistan to keep
the peace by using the skill they have developed with their fists. They
can go around and knock out the mullahs. And whoever survives 3 years
on the streets of Kabul and other places is allowed to return with their
criminal record expunged.
I didn't make this up. During the early years of the draft for the Vietnam war, many young men who got into trouble with the law in Dakota for assault and even manslaughter were given a choice by the judges. Jail or military. If they chose military they went to the toughest boot camp for 2 sessions until the drill sergeants (who know who they were) beat them to a pulp emotionally. Then they were sent to Vietnam for 2 years. The ones that survived and returned were allowed back into society with no record. BUT if they got into trouble again for the same thing... it would go double.
The advantage was that the survivors were not felons and were employable, could vote and all privileges. However hidden in the records for law enforcement was a sword of Damocles. Get in trouble and double came your way.
Most of the men I knew who went that way became excellent citizens.
So the knockout boys would have a chance to practice their craft among the Afghan and if they don't lose their head should be welcomed back. Of course that only applied to an earlier time when lawyers and political correctness were not with us. Now we don't have the guts to do what is right.

Here are ten of the most revolting quotes from every university student’s favorite ‘freedom fighter’, Che Guevara:
Che Guevara:
1) “Youth must refrain from ungrateful questioning of governmental mandates. Instead, they must dedicate themselves to study, work and military service.”
2) “Youth should learn to think and act as a mass. It is criminal to think as individuals!”
3) “The victory of Socialism is well worth millions of atomic victims!”
4) “We must do away with all newspapers. A revolution cannot be accomplished with freedom of the press.”
5) “To send men to the firing squad, judicial proof is unnecessary. These procedures are an archaic bourgeois detail. This is a revolution! And a revolutionary must become a cold killing machine motivated by pure hate.”
6) “Hatred is the central element of our struggle! Hatred so violent that it propels a human being beyond his natural limitations, making him a violent and cold-blooded killing machine. Our soldiers must be thus.”
7) “The blacks, those magnificent examples of the African race who have conserved their racial purity by a lack of affinity with washing, have seen their patch invaded by a different kind of slave: The Portugese.”
“The black is indolent and fanciful, he spends his money on frivolity and drink; the European comes from a tradition of working and saving which follows him to this corner of America and drives him to get ahead.”
9) “I fired a .32 caliber bullet into the right hemisphere of his brain which came out through his left temple. He moaned for a few moments, then died.”
10) “I’d like to confess, Papa, at that moment I discovered that I really like killing.”

Nurse Discusses 5 Regrets People Tell Her Before They Die
http://universityprimetime.com/school/unh/article/nurse-discusses-5-regrets-people-tell-her-before-they-die
For many years I worked in palliative care. My patients were those who had gone home to die. Some incredibly special times were shared. I was with them for the last three to twelve weeks of their lives. People grow a lot when they are faced with their own mortality.
I learnt never to underestimate someone’s capacity for growth. Some changes were phenomenal. Each experienced a variety of emotions, as expected, denial, fear, anger, remorse, more denial and eventually acceptance. Every single patient found their peace before they departed though, every one of them.
When questioned about any regrets they had or anything they would do differently, common themes surfaced again and again. Here are the most common five:
1. I wish I’d had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the life others expected of me.
This was the most common regret of all. When people realize that their life is almost over and look back clearly on it, it is easy to see how many dreams have gone unfulfilled. Most people had not honoured even a half of their dreams and had to die knowing that it was due to choices they had made, or not made.
It is very important to try and honour at least some of your dreams along the way. From the moment that you lose your health, it is too late. Health brings a freedom very few realise, until they no longer have it.
2. I wish I didn’t work so hard.
This came from every male patient that I nursed. They missed their children’s youth and their partner’s companionship. Women also spoke of this regret. But as most were from an older generation, many of the female patients had not been breadwinners. All of the men I nursed deeply regretted spending so much of their lives on the treadmill of a work existence.
By simplifying your lifestyle and making conscious choices along the way, it is possible to not need the income that you think you do. And by creating more space in your life, you become happier and more open to new opportunities, ones more suited to your new lifestyle.
3. I wish I’d had the courage to express my feelings.
Many people suppressed their feelings in order to keep peace with others. As a result, they settled for a mediocre existence and never became who they were truly capable of becoming. Manydeveloped illnesses relating to the bitterness and resentment they carried as a result.
We cannot control the reactions of others. However, although people may initially react when you change the way you are by speaking honestly, in the end it raises the relationship to a whole new and healthier level. Either that or it releases the unhealthy relationship from your life. Either way,you win.
4. I wish I had stayed in touch with my friends.
Often they would not truly realise the full benefits of old friends until their dying weeks and it was not always possible to track them down. Many had become so caught up in their own lives that they had let golden friendships slip by over the years. There were many deep regrets about not giving friendships the time and effort that they deserved. Everyone misses their friends when they are dying.
It is common for anyone in a busy lifestyle to let friendships slip. But when you are faced with your approaching death, the physical details of life fall away. People do want to get their financial affairs in order if possible. But it is not money or status that holds the true importance for them. They want to get things in order more for the benefit of those they love. Usually though, they are too ill and weary to ever manage this task. It is all comes down to love and relationships in the end. That is all that remains in the final weeks, love and relationships.
5. I wish that I had let myself be happier.
This is a surprisingly common one. Many did not realize until the end that happiness is a choice. They had stayed stuck in old patterns and habits. The so-called ‘comfort’ of familiarity overflowed into their emotions, as well as their physical lives. Fear of change had them pretending to others, and to their selves, that they were content. When deep within, they longed to laugh properly and have silliness in their life again. When you are on your deathbed, what others think of you is a long way from your mind. How wonderful to be able to let go and smile again, long before you are dying.

THE AFFORDABLE HORSE ACT OF 2013
The U.S. government has just passed a new law called: "The Affordable Horse Act" declaring that every citizen MUST purchase a horse, by April 2014.
These "affordable" horses will cost an average of $54,000-$155,000 each. This does not include taxes, trailering, training, feed and farrier fees, boarding, show and transportation fees, veterinarian bills or the occasional hospitalization.
This law has been passed, because until now, typically only wealthy and financially responsible people have been able to purchase horses. This new laws ensures that every American can now have an "affordable" horse of their own, because everyone is "entitled" to a horse. If you purchase your horse before the end of the year, you will receive 4 "free" saddle pads; not including monthly usage fees.
In order to make sure everyone purchases an affordable horse, the costs of owning a horse will increase on average of 250-400% per year. This way, wealthy people will pay more for something that other people don't want or can't afford to maintain. But to be fair, people who can’t afford to maintain their horse will be regularly fined and children (under the age of 26) can ride their parents horse to show on until they turn 27; then must purchase their own horse.
• If you already have a horse, you can keep yours (just kidding - no you can’t).
• If you don't want or don't need a horse, you are required to buy one anyhow.
• If you refuse to buy a horse or can’t afford one, you will be regularly fined $800 until you purchase one or face imprisonment.
Failure to ride your horse will also result in fines. People living in the inner-city; low-desert, or who live in cities or areas with no access to stables or show-rings are not exempt. Age, fear of falling, no equestrian experience, neither horsemanship skills, nor inability to ride are acceptable excuses for not using your horse.
A government review board (that doesn't know the difference between the withers, fetlock or tail of a horse) will decide everything, including: when, where, how often and for what purposes you can use your horse … along with how many people can ride your horse and determine if one is too old or healthy enough to be able to ride their horse. They will also decide if your horse has out lived its usefulness or if you must purchase specific accessories, (like a $5,000.00 saddle) or a newer and more expensive green Warmblood from Europe. Those that can afford Fancy Hunters will be required to do so...it’s only fair.
The government will also decide the name for each horse. Failure to comply with these rules will result in fines and possible imprisonment.
Government officials are exempt from this new law. If they want a horse, they and their families can obtain a horse for free, at the expense of tax payers.
Unions, bankers and mega companies with large political affiliations ($$$) are also exempt.
I was going to order a new horse today, but the website was down, I’m sure they will fix it, I will try again tomorrow!!!!

Should BMI Challenged Barbara Mikulski and Hillary Clinton Determine What Should Be in Your Health Plan? Or Should You Take Advice From Rep. Kristi Noem and Sarah Palin Who Want You to Choose What You Want????

The modern day Democrat party say it knows what should be in your health plan. They are concerned you have "crappy insurance" and preventative care. But, what if Senator Barbara Mikulski isn't the "best" person to tell you what you need to do to stay healthy??? Senator Mikulski and Hillary Clinton , with enormous conviction, say that they have the plan to keep you healthy? What if ObamaCare turns you into clones of them??? Would you feel healthy??? Isn't it better just to try and emulate Rep. Kristi Noem and Sarah Palin??? They will not tell you what to have in a health insurance policy. They will not claim to be health care experts who want to run your life. They'll leave you alone.

How to solve Homelessness
We have an epidemic of homeless in the USA. Many people cannot find anywhere to live. So they live on the streets, under bridges, in abandon buildings. They are truly victims of an evil corrupt housing system that favors those who can afford nice homes and discriminates against those who cannot.
We need a fix. I have an idea. The AHA. The affordable housing act. An act that if you have a nice home we will take it from you and force you to live in one that is not nearly what your old one was, but we will insist it is better. It will be uniform. No one will have a better home than anyone else. Universal home provision.
I know you won't get to keep that house you bought and paid for... but those who have no home will now be able to live free and clear. Oh, you will be requied to pay more for your living expenses even though your house will be much less than you were used to. It's just fair. Think of those who can't afford a home. It's for them.
I know that when I introduced this idea and you bought into it I told you that you could keep your home, I misspoke. OK, I lied. But it's for the good of all. We can all live in these nice boxes, equal, controlled, oppressed and.....hey it worked in East Germany for almost 40 years... Why not?

Oh, you will be requied to pay more for your living expenses even though your house will be much less than you were used to. It's just fair. Think of those who can't afford a home. It's for them.
I know that when I introduced this idea and you bought into it I told you that you could keep your home, I misspoke. OK, I lied. But it's for the good of all. We can all live in these nice boxes, equal, controlled, oppressed and.....hey it worked in East Germany for almost 40 years... Why not?

12 Things Happy People Do Differently -- And Why I Started Doing Them | Jacob Sokol
Here are a dozen things that any of us -- at any age or stage of life -- can start doing today to feel the effects of more happiness in our lives [2].
- Express gratitude. -- When you appreciate what you have, what you have appreciates in value. Kinda cool right? So basically, being grateful for the goodness that is already evident in your life will bring you a deeper sense of happiness. And that's without having to go out and buy anything. It makes sense. We're gonna have a hard time ever being happy if we aren't thankful for what we already have.
- Cultivate optimism. -- Winners have the ability to manufacture their own optimism. No matter what the situation, the successful diva is the chick who will always find a way to put an optimistic spin on it. She knows failure only as an opportunity to grow and learn a new lesson from life. People who think optimistically see the world as a place packed with endless opportunities, especially in trying times [3].
- Avoid over-thinking and social comparison. -- Comparing yourself to someone else can be poisonous. If we're somehow "better" than the person that we're comparing ourselves to, it gives us an unhealthy sense of superiority. Our ego inflates -- KABOOM -- our inner Kanye West comes out! If we're "worse" than the person that we're comparing ourselves to, we usually discredit the hard work that we've done and dismiss all the progress that we've made. What I've found is that the majority of the time this type of social comparison doesn't stem from a healthy place. If you feel called to compare yourself to something, compare yourself to an earlier version of yourself.
- Practice acts of kindness. -- Performing an act of kindness releases serotonin in your brain. (Serotonin is a substance that has TREMENDOUS health benefits, including making us feel more blissful.) Selflessly helping someone is a super powerful way to feel good inside. What's even cooler about this kindness kick is that not only will you feel better, but so will people watching the act of kindness. How extraordinary is that? A side note is that the job of most anti-depressants is to release more serotonin. Move over Pfizer, kindness is kicking ass and taking names.
- Nurture social relationships. -- The happiest people on the planet are the ones who have deep, meaningful relationships. Did you know studies show that people's mortality rates are DOUBLED when they're lonely? WHOA! There's a warm fuzzy feeling that comes from having an active circle of good friends who you can share your experiences with. We feel connected and a part of something more meaningful than our lonesome existence.
- Develop strategies for coping. -- How you respond to the "craptastic" moments is what shapes your character. Sometimes crap happens -- it's inevitable. Forrest Gump knows the deal. It can be hard to come up with creative solutions in the moment when manure is making its way up toward the fan. It helps to have healthy strategies for coping pre-rehearsed, on-call, and in your arsenal at your disposal.
- Learn to forgive. -- Harboring feelings of hatred is horrible for your well-being. You see, your mind doesn't know the difference between past and present emotion. When you "hate" someone, and you're continuously thinking about it, those negative emotions are toxic for your well-being. You put yourself in a state of suckerism (technical term) and it stays with you throughout your day.
- Increase flow experiences. -- Flow is a state in which it feels like time stands still. It's when you're so focused on what you're doing that you become one with the task. Action and awareness are merged. You're not hungry, sleepy, or emotional. You're just completely engaged in the activity that you're doing. Nothing is distracting you or competing for your focus.
- Savor life's joys. -- Deep happiness cannot exist without slowing down to enjoy the joy. It's easy in a world of wild stimuli and omnipresent movement to forget to embrace life's enjoyable experiences. When we neglect to appreciate, we rob the moment of its magic. It's the simple things in life that can be the most rewarding if we remember to fully experience them.
- Commit to your goals. -- Being wholeheartedly dedicated to doing something comes fully-equipped with an ineffable force. Magical things start happening when we commit ourselves to doing whatever it takes to get somewhere. When you're fully committed to doing something, you have no choice but to do that thing. Counter-intuitively, having no option -- where you can't change your mind -- subconsciously makes humans happier because they know part of their purpose.
- Practice spirituality. -- When we practice spirituality or religion, we recognize that life is bigger than us. We surrender the silly idea that we are the mightiest thing ever. It enables us to connect to the source of all creation and embrace a connectedness with everything that exists. Some of the most accomplished people I know feel that they're here doing work they're "called to do."
- Take care of your body. -- Taking care of your body is crucial to being the happiest person you can be. If you don't have your physical energy in good shape, then your mental energy (your focus), your emotional energy (your feelings), and your spiritual energy (your purpose) will all be negatively affected [4]. Did you know that studies conducted on people who were clinically depressed showed that consistent exercise raises happiness levels just as much as Zoloft? Not only that, but here's the double whammy... Six months later, the people who participated in exercise were less likely to relapse because they had a higher sense of self-accomplishment and self-worth.
