The Kindom of God is NOT a Democracy

The man who will read this needs this word of encouragement. The kingdom of God is a benevolent theocracy. There is only ONE KING. Nowhere are there supposed to be votes. You can step out of the kingdom, you can go to a different domain under the same King. But there is no democracy except in ONE place. The Church at Laeodocea was run by a board, by a vote, by the people.

And we know how that came out. Jesus vomited them out.

It wasn't his plan. God places a man in charge (the Angel (the same root word as Apostle) and he is to rule the household of faith over which he is placed.

Somehow that has been polluted with religious systems. And sometimes that was changed because of abuses in the past particularly by the Roman Church.

But that was never God's best. God's plan was for a set man to be called and the vision God gave him and the prophetic voices around him were to define the vision of the Church. If a man who knows that call is stifled he will end up leaving the church within a few years. His call which is without repentance cannot survive the stifle of church systems.

Churches sometimes flounder for a very long time without sound apostolic leadership because of a spirit or a demon.

Either a Laeodocin spirit or the demon Jezebel.

Both are evil.

O.K. about God's calling of leadership of His church, but the actual Greek word in Rev. 3:14 (message to Laodicea) is AGGELOS(angelos), translated "angel" or "messenger",and is different from the word, "apostle", which in Greek is "apostolos" (one sent with a commission). The APOSTLE JOhn writes the messages from the Christ to the "MESSENGERS"(earthly messengers, or maybe what we would call 'pastors') of the various churches in Asia Minor.

There will be churches that are left with rotten fruit on their vines. They are left there to deceive the masses, they are there so that the words of Jesus will resonate. You prophesied in my name, healed in my name, and cast out demons in my name but depart, I never knew you. Don't just blindly follow someone who says he believes the word of God, look at his life, who he surrounds himself with, what he does with his resources and use your brain. Self-appointed apostles, prophets, evangelists are just that, SELF-appointed.

OH I GET IT. You are just blindly suppose to do whatever your Angel/Apostle (Read pastor or should I say evangelist) says. Since as we all know they are all perfect and do could NEVER be led astray or fooled!!!!! After all they ALL say they are getting the word from God Himself even though SOME of what they are teaching has no basis in the BIBLE, the true constitution that should lead us all!

You said, "The kingdom of God is a benevolent theocracy. There is only ONE KING. Nowhere are there supposed to be votes. You can step out of the kingdom, you can go to a different domain under the same King. But there is no democracy except in ONE place."

The first three sentences are correct, but do you understand them? The fourth sentence is illogical. If there is one King, there cannot be democracy anywhere. If the people of a nation can vote the king out of his position, then he is not a king. If God is king, there cannot be democracy anywhere.

The kingdom is not here. It is in Heaven and I promise you there is only one king there. That same King created everything divine in Heaven and the Earth. He really does not need our votes. We need HIM. We are not worthy or sin free enough to function without checks and balances here on earth. This would include the pastors, evangelists, apostles and prophets. Only God is that worthy!
I once knew a self proclaimed prophet and self proclaimed apostle that left the church they served in a real financial mess because they followed their own will and not that of God. Could they have done that if people had the right to vote. Yeah! That is the sad answer. So all this matters not, does it?

RON,
I am a victim of bad grammer.

What I was TRYING badly to say is there was only one evidence from scripture of a democratic church.

Laeodociea.
