Boggy Peak on the Caribbean island of Antigua is now Mount Obama.

Antigua and Barbuda Prime Minister Baldwin Spencer made the change official today (Wednesday) during a ceremony honoring American President Barack Obama on his birthday. The peak is the highest point on the island, rising 1,300 feet above sea level.

The move was not universally favored on Antigua, but Spencer did not need legislative approval to make the name change. He said Obama, as the first black American president, was a source of pride for all Caribbean people.

You are SO jealous. But don't worry, you have that giant imposing building in Soiux Falls named after you.
