I work in this industry and can testify to the fact that people with SKILL are really short. Part of it is the economy where workers have gone back to Mexico. Part of it is a school system that is preparing people to do work that isn't there. Part of it is a stigma on blue collar work that shouldn't be there. NOW is the time to learn to weld, wire, do carpentry. Forget the unions, they don't do the job of preparing people. Get to a trade school and you'll make good money doing what needs doing. This will accelerate. Prepare for the day when the economy turns around with vigor. We have to get rid of the amateurs in the capital building and at 1600. It will be 2015 before real leadership can fix this mess. And fix it they will. Be ready. It will be a good time to be alive and working. Get Ready
