Barack Obama is Not a Christian By Gina Miller

On Tuesday, Barack Obama was on his perpetual campaign tour, and he made a stop in Albuquerque for one of his attempts to portray himself as being in touch with the common man. He’s conducting a series of what they’re calling “backyard conversations,” and this stop on Tuesday was one of them.

The big story of Obama’s Albuquerque appearance that exploded across the wires was his answer to a woman asking him, “Why are you a Christian?” Okay, first of all, here is a planted question if I’ve even seen one, and the question itself presupposes an answer, a bit like the old “have you stopped beating your wife yet?” The question presupposes that Obama is a Christian. Apparently, Obama’s handlers really do care about America’s perception of his religious beliefs. Polling shows that many Americans firmly believe Obama is a Muslim. I guess that’s not good in the eyes of this administration.

By now you’ve heard his answer played everywhere ad nauseam (“I’m a Christian by choice. Blah, blah, blah”), but one line in his answer to the lady’s question set me off, because it’s not the first time he has used the line. In his answer, he said,

“…the precepts of Jesus Christ spoke to me in terms of the kind of life that I would want to lead. Being my brothers and sisters’ keeper…”

Being my brother’s keeper; that has a Biblical ring, doesn’t it? The problem is that many, many people nowadays don’t have even a basic working knowledge of what is actually written in the Bible and so are easily deceived by people who rip Scripture completely out of context and pervert what the Word of God really says.

Do you know where in the Bible the phrase “my brother’s keeper” appears and in what context? Let’s take a look at the only place that line appears in the Bible: Genesis, chapter 4, beginning in verse 8,

“And Cain talked with Abel his brother, and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother and slew him.

And the Lord said to Cain, ‘Where is your brother Abel?’ And he said, ‘I don’t know. Am I my brother’s keeper?’

And the Lord said, ‘What have you done? The voice of your brother’s blood cries out to me from the ground.

‘And now you are cursed from the earth, which has opened her mouth to receive your brother’s blood from your hand.’”

So, there is the context and meaning of that line. Cain is answering the Lord with a smart aleck lie. You can almost hear the tone of Cain’s voice saying, “I don’t know where Abel is! What do you think I am, my brother’s babysitter?!” Cain was very bad off at that point.

Now, Obama uses that line obviously intending to give his words a Christian sound, but he is twisting what those words actually mean in Scripture. Obama seems to imagine that those words have a meaning of charity, maybe even a socialistic utopian vision of every man being his brother’s keeper by surrendering his paycheck to Big Brother to redistribute in all of Big Brother’s socialistic “generosity.”

Barack Obama is not a Christian. I’m not saying that simply because he demonstrates an ignorance of Scripture and a willingness to distort the Word of God for political gain; I’m saying it because of everything I’ve learned and observed about Obama. He supports the hideous and barbaric practice of partial-birth abortion of full-term babies–infanticide. He supports withholding life-saving care from a baby who has survived a botched abortion, so the baby suffers and dies a horrible death. He backs the homosexual agenda to the point the he supports the open flaunting of homosexuality within our military, and he has packed his administration with radical leftist homosexuals. He routinely lies when speaking. It would be easier and quicker to make a list of truths Obama has spoken than the countless lies he has uttered. No one will see a tax increase. You can keep your health insurance if you like it. The health care bill will lower costs and improve the quality of health care. We will post all bills online to give the public a chance to see them before we vote on them. Those are just a few examples of his lies, for those of you who demand examples, and of course there are many, many more.

And, don’t forget–twice now, Obama has omitted the word Creator when quoting our Declaration of Independence. That certainly does not seem like something a Christian would do, now does it?

Obama spent 20 years in the Chicago church of a false prophet, Jeremiah Wright. That church hijacked the name of Christ to use in its title, Trinity United Church of Christ. All you need is to hear or read just a portion of Wright’s sermons to know that Christ is nowhere near Wright’s teachings.

No, Obama is certainly no Christian. His past is steeped in Marxism and communism. He was trained in the ways of socialism. His friends and mentors are enemies of America, enemies of freedom, enemies of truth. Marxism, which is socialism, and communism are godless ideologies. The state is the only god, and the state demands servitude of the people. The state is in direct competition with the one true God. Marxism and Christianity are indeed mutually exclusive.

Personally, I don’t have to be told what’s in Obama’s heart, because I can see what he’s doing, and that tells me plenty about what’s in his heart. He is trying to destroy our country, with the help of his like-minded buddies also in power in Washington. Since he is on an evil mission to tear down American freedom and sovereignty and to steal money from those who earn it to pad the coffers of the government, it is a given that Christ is not in his heart–by its fruit, you know the tree.

Is he a Muslim? That, too, doesn’t matter to me, except that his sympathy or empathy with Islam is part of why we’re seeing such a rise in the push for Shariah in our country under his watch. When you see how he acts toward the Islamists, bowing and coddling, there is no doubt that he reveres Islam. Does that mean he is a Muslim? Not necessarily. But he was raised with Islam during his childhood. His father and stepfather were Muslims.

The bottom line here is that while I’m certain Obama is not a Christian and might possibly be a Muslim or even a believer in nothing higher than himself, what really matters is what he is actually doing to our country. We don’t need to be distracted by the question of what’s in Obama’s heart in terms of his religious beliefs, because we can see plainly enough by his bad behavior that whatever is in his heart, it’s not good, not good at all.
