This article is why I am concerned about the nomenclature "Spiritual Sons and Daughters" in the church. I know there are biblical references, but there seems to be the significant potential for misuse. I have spiritual fathers, but I don't worship them, I have spiritual sons and daughters, but they don't revere me ab...ove any other. HONOR, yes, reverence? NOPE. I think we need to reconsider the use of this terminology. It has a landmine hidden just under the surface.
