Why the War on Radical Islam is Going Badly, The Commander in Chief is a Dope

As we reach the ninth anniversary of the 911 terrorist attack on America in which nearly 3,000 of our fellow Americans were murdered at the hands of Islamic extremists, we find ourselves in an odd and disturbing place.

We have a president

  • Whose counter-terrorism adviser considers jihad a legitimate tenet of Islam
  • Who considers conservative, patriotic Americans a greater threat than Islamic terrorists
  • Whose Secretary of Homeland Defense says “the system worked” when a terrorist attempt to blow up a plane failed only because of the bomber’s incompetence
  • Who alienates the one real democracy in the Middle East
  • Who appoints people that are radical, anti-American communists
  • Who says he is committed to closing our terrorist POW camp despite the recidivism of these terrorists
  • Who appoints a Supreme Court justice who favors foreign law over American law
  • Who pals around with anti-American Marxist dictators
  • Who bows to a foreign Islamic king
  • Who can’t help bashing his own country even as he tries to get the Olympics here
  • Who relegates the war on terrorism to an “Overseas Contingency Operation” or merely an “unpleasant afterthought”
  • Who wants to do away with the terrorist threat alert system (perhaps going to one color–waving the white flag)
  • Who has a radical past including pals that are domestic terrorists and ones with foreign terrorist connections

Our president even refuses to name who it is we are fighting–maybe because he doesn’t want to fight them at all…
