WOW, I just discovered Ron Edmondson's blog. Greg Howse posted something from it. What amazed me is this is a laundry list of why churches fall apart. The real leaders drift away or quit outright and all you have left are the Pastor's fan club for accountability and direction. OUCH. I know that two visions are di-vision. Can't do that. BUT, if you have a strong leader you need him or her to speak into your life. They are leaders because they have vision. That means they can see things. If they love you they will try to support yours, but if they see a roadblock or pothole they will say HALT. I wish EVERY pastor and apostolic leader in America would take this to heart. Every one of them needs to have someone who has the right to look you in the eye and say,, sorry my brother but you are full of it again. Without that you will end up shipwreck. We have too many examples to list here. God is raising the bar. A LOT!
