Dirty Little Secret. The minimum wage was just increased. The unemployment rate in the inner city just took a huge jump. Coincidence? NOPE. This is how it works. AND the politicians know it. I wish everyone working could be paid twenty bucks an hour, but they can't. SO, young men and women go without work or wo...rk for some make work job in the government because there are no starter jobs left. Increase minimum wage, put people on the street. Happens every time it's tried. EVERYWHERE. IF we were to restore sanity, there should be no minimum wage at all. People will vote with their feet. Get some work experience and get out.
