Guns don't kill people. People kill people. Should we ban the sale of cars because of fatal automobile accidents? Should we ban all cleaning products because of all the toxic poisans they spread?
Gun control is a cause most elected officials prefer to ignore, but a proposal by Rep. Carolyn McCarthy to limit the size of magazines may find an audience now.
