This happens when you have people in power who do NOT understand business. The whole Bain capital issue is indicative of how lacking in sophistication these people really are. When Bill Clinton said "Amateur"...he was being kind.
In The Wall Street Journal, Harvey Golub writes that of the 11 recoveries in the last 60 years, this one is at or near the bottom in job growth and every other economic indicator.
