Thinking about the teachers strike and the Refs, the essence of strikes should be:

On the workers side, if you don't pay us more we won't work. Strike

On the employers side, if you don't work, (strike) we may just fire the whole lot and start over if we think we can. Reagan and the ATC

With the Refs they proved they were that valuable. Strike ends. Labor wins.

Why did the teachers strike n

ot end with the whole bunch being fired? With the refs it was proven they could do the job better. With the teachers in the CPS they have proven they are far less then indispensable...yet they won. Do you suppose that politics had anything to do with this? Just asking. If they made me king..things would be different...chaotic, but different. I don't guess I'll wait up for the call. LOL
