Gays: Making America Safer -- Written: 6-26-13 by Michael G. Mickey

Speaking at the Pentagon's gay pride celebration yesterday, a top adviser to President Obama, Valerie Jarrett, said, "Because we repealed ‘don’t ask, don’t tell,’ our military … is stronger and our country is safer, more equal and more just."

I suppose we are to believe that our more effeminate military is just what the doctor ordered to render it more capable of wading into battle and destroying its enemies. That's liberal, Obama administration logic for you. But nothing could be further from the truth.

Whenever we, as a nation, thumb our collective nose at Almighty God, the outcome is assuredly not positive. And thumb our noses at God we have where this issue is concerned because Scripture couldn't be any clearer than it is where the topic of living a homosexual lifestyle is concerned.

Leviticus 18:22-24: "Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it [is] abomination. Neither shalt thou lie with any beast to defile thyself therewith: neither shall any woman stand before a beast to lie down thereto: it [is] confusion. Defile not ye yourselves in any of these things: for in all these the nations are defiled which I cast out before you:"

When man lies down with man sexually, it is a sin. Likewise, when a man has sex with a goat it is a sin. And sinning against God? It doesn't make a nation stronger militarily, it defiles it. That's not a personal opinion on my part. That's what Scripture teaches, not that our current administration can be bothered with something as minor (in their eyes) as the will of Almighty God.

The United States may be a lot of things since 'don't ask, don't tell' was repealed but safer is not one of them. Safer is what you are when you're living inside of God's will, not trampling it underfoot.
