Paul Weyrich was a conservative leader for the last several decades. He was part of the moral majority. He told the truth. Now he's gone. The movement among liberals and inclusionists of the quasi Christians in the USA are now ready to fill this vacuum.
What makes this most interesting is the idea that these people so offended by the existence of Mr Weyrich. Read this article commenting on his passing, but more important read the comments.
It is an illusion to think those hardened hearts will ever allow the Gospel to come in. Only by seeing something truly amazing supernatural will break their hard hearts. Or a supernatural visitation by the Holy Spirit of God. Otherwise our make nice efforts fall on deaf ears.
Yet, that is what liberal evangelicals want to do. Water down the gospel to appeal to this crowd. They have even written a letter to the NEA to fill Richard Cizik's seat with someone with equally liberal views.
Look at the letter 5 dozen "leaders" have written. This idea that by playing NICE we will reach people that are offended by the selection of Rick Warren to Pray for Obama at Inauguration is just blindness.
I don't know what has come over people. I really shake my head in total disbelief.
