This story made DRUDGE this morning. Reading it I was struck with the comments made by some. Ignorance.
A woman belongs to a church. Decides to move in with her Boyfriend. Pastor goes to her and says, bad idea, cut it out. Nothing. A few elders go to her. Ditto.
Then they decide to take it to the whole congregation.
She makes news of it all. Drudge picks it up.
Like this is out of the ordinary. A comment was made on another blog that the church while hard on Homosexual activity was soft on Fornication. Well not this one.
The pastor did right.
And, she has resigned from the church. Living in sin is more important to her. I get that. Love is a many splendorous thing, even when it's sin.
So she is no longer accountable to that Church. Now it's time for the world to do it's work. Paul gave the Corinthians clear instruction on how to deal with such a thing. Put him out and let the world work him over.
Apparently it worked according to scripture.
Of course, there will be some liberal pastor of the first church of the itching ears to take her in and lie to her. That is out of line.
We have lost our way as the Body of Christ.

All things are to be consecrated by the Word of God and prayer...also the union of a man and a woman. She should follow the rules of the State--get a license, and should follow the Word of God, to have her relationship blssed by the word of God and prayer. She can still do that....
