A Generation Lied to - when they Receive the Lie it Places Them in Chains
I recently saw a movie about World War Two where Hitler is killed in a theater. Casually I checked out other's reactions to the movie. Believe it or not many commenters on this fiction were questioning if or whether or not it actually happened as shown in the movie. Somehow fiction and reality have become confused.
These delusions are intentional. They have been part of a strategy for a long time.
Josef Stalin said: " Education is a weapon whose effects depend on who holds it in his hands and at whom it is aimed. Ideas are more powerful than guns. We would not let our enemies have guns, why should we let them have ideas. Print is the sharpest and the strongest weapon of our party. The writer is the engineer of the human soul".So it's not an accident. This is a plan. And our current government is right in line. They control much and they didn't take it from us, we gave it to them. The lies are everywhere. It hammers us every day.
“Give me four years to teach the children and the seed I have sown will never be uprooted.”—Vladimir Ilyich Lenin
“The education of all children, from the moment that they can get along without a mother’s care, shall be in state institutions at state expense.”—Karl Marx
Television of course is full of falsehoods. But the characters on those programs become believable and therefore people decide that it's all real. Look at the propaganda surrounding the Global Warming lies. What did Al Gore use? Movies and Television. And people buy it.
Many of the formerly "harmless" movies have chiseled away at truth. Remember the movies Dan Brown has authored? Harmless right? Not so much. Chip Chip Chip.
The atheist agenda and the discredit efforts of the big lie has tried and in many cases succeeded in casting enough doubt that without a genuine experience people are unable to receive the truth because of the lie that they have accepted. They have been put in chains.
Even among people who have been raised in the fear and admonition of the Lord, the capacity to believe half truth and myth on the Internet has become rampant. The church is full of conspiracy used only to confuse and distract the believer from the main things.
The outright BIG LIE has become manifest because people are unwilling to face it down. Lies about the world. Lies about Islam. Lies about our government.
Some of this is the result of lowest common denominator education in the public schools. Discernment and understanding are no longer taught. Yet everybody graduates with a 4.0. It's all fiction. Even the grade.
The myth is that we can take this back easily. IT won't be easy. We all have been duped. This isn't about politics. It's about the blind leading the blind both into a ditch.
The world is too much with and in us to help us see thru the smokescreen it presents. How do we separate lies from truth? We don't.
Look at some discussions on the Internet or talk radio or TV. The discussions are driven by parroted lies and myths. Left and right. They are equally guilty.
There is a dimension to this that is doubly dangerous. The most duped lied to among them seem to think they are "In the Know". They are the most duped of all. They have been badly educated in good science so bad science suffices. They are badly educated in good economic theory so bad economic systems are accepted. They are poorly informed as to the consequences of bad political decisions so we end up with the mess we have today. They worst of all have a poor historical perspective from dumbed down history education so they have no framework to consider the future in light of the past.
To them the past is what has happened since Elvis died.
In fact the biggest manifestation of this syndrome are people who don't watch the news, who's current events feeds come from Jon Stewart and Stephan Colbert. Sure you know them. They are 20-40 something people who think they are in because some joker has told them so.
They are dupes of the worst kind.
Will we get back from here? Probably not as long as the status quo isn't challenged by the ones who still have a voice.
The schools aren't going to do it. Few movies will. Look at Avatar. A beautiful anti American propaganda film. Look at most of Television. Nope. The Internet? Some. Talk Radio? Some. Newspapers? WHAT, who reads anymore? Churches? The ones that have no fear...which is few any more.
So where are the cultural defenders for this generation of lost souls?
I believe we can find them, but it must start with US.
If we don't take a stand, we will have been duped ourselves.
Now Obama is losing Maureen Dowd...Who's next?
President Obama’s favorite word is “unprecedented,” as Carol Lee of Politico pointed out. Yet he often seems mired in the past as well, letting his hallmark legislation get loaded up with old-school bribes and pork; surrounding himself with Clintonites; continuing the Bushies’ penchant for secrecy and expansive executive privilege; doubling down in Afghanistan while acting as though he’s getting out; and failing to capitalize on snazzy new technology while agencies thumb through printouts and continue their old turf battles.

When you elect inexperience, you get inexperience
Here are the top ten dumbest things he has done:
2009 was the worst year for American foreign policy since the Carter administration.
1. Surrendering to Russia over missile defence.
2. Appeasing the mullahs of Iran.
3. Ending the war on terror.
4. Announcing a surge while declaring an exit.
5. Apologizing to France for America’s “arrogance.”
6. Giving DVDs to the British Prime Minister.
7. Siding with Marxists in Honduras.
8. Bowing to emperors and kings.
9. Embracing genocidal killers in Sudan.
10. Throwing Churchill out of the White House. It’s been a long year.
Chavez Kicks a live dog and leaves all the dead ones alone
You don't hear much about Bolivia except from Chavez as he pokes at America and Americans. Why. They are significant only for their insignificance. They can't pose a true threat. They have no economic power. They are only an island of nothing.
That's not arrogance. It's truth. Peanut galleries is where the peanuts sit that make a habit of poking at the USA with criticism and egotistical faux geocentrism.
Guess what. The opinions of Chavez and the other America bashers from countries outside the USA are just noise. Irrelevant. Not understanding. Amateur hour stuff.
If there were real solutions they would quickly find a place in decision making that could matter.
So, I say to Chavez and his ilk....your voice is not heard nor does it matter. We must be ready militarily to do what must be done at a moment because some of the critics of the USA are armed and if they chose would be the recipients of a very short war on their ground.
I hope that like Castro, Chavez will learn this truth. If he ever became rambunctious his country would resemble a landfill. The USA is never going to abide a genuine threat on it's virtual border to exist. Not Venezuela, not Mexico and didn't in Cuba. Won't.
Sovereignty is a very hard thing to break once you achieve it. Just ask China. They really don't care what Great Britain thinks or thought when they executed a man found with drugs today. Brutal? I guess. BUT, they are now where the USA is.
A live dog being kicked at by a lot of fleas.
The Enemy among us
If you are a leader you will have conflict sooner or later. How you manage conflict will determine how good of a leader you will be. Jesus handled conflict in many different ways. Sometimes he confronted the issue head-on, other times He ignored the accusation and went on His way. Sometimes He chose to wash the feet of those who attacked Him.
Dr. Martin Luther King, father of the United States civil rights movement modeled conflict management in the following way:
"On Christmas Day, 1957, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. delivered a sermon at the Dexter Avenue Baptist Church in Montgomery, Alabama. It was based on this passage and the sermon title was, 'Loving Your Enemy.' Through the course of his sermon, Dr. King suggested three ways by which we can do just that.
Today, be proactive about forgiving those who have been the source of pain in your life.First, we must develop and maintain the capacity to forgive. Such forgiveness doesn't mean that we ignore the wrong committed against us. Rather it means that we will no longer allow the wrong to be a barrier to the relationship. Forgiveness, according to King, 'is a catalyst creating the atmosphere necessary for a fresh start and a new beginning.'
Second, we must recognize that the wrong we've suffered doesn't entirely represent the other person's identity. We need to acknowledge that our opponent, like each one of us, possesses both bad and good qualities. We must choose to find the good and focus on it.
Third, we must not seek to defeat or humiliate our opponent, but to win his or her friendship and understanding. Such an attitude flows not from ourselves, but from God as his unconditional love works through us.
As followers of Christ who seek to lead as He led, we must remember that the more freely we forgive, the more clearly we reveal the nature of our Heavenly Father."*

A Left-Wing take on President Obama - Not a pretty sight
How much rage? I find myself thinking that the thing I want most from the 2010 elections is for his party to get absolutely clobbered, even if that means a repeat of 1994. And that what I most want from 2012 is for him to be utterly humiliated, even if that means President Palin at the helm. That much rage.
Did this clown really say on national television that "I did not run for office to be helping out a bunch of you know, fat cat bankers on Wall Street"?!?!
Really, Barack? So, like, my question is: Then why the hell did you help out a bunch of fat cat bankers on Wall Street?!?! Why the hell did you surround yourself with nothing but Robert Rubin proteges in all the key economic positions in your government? Why did you allow them to open a Washington branch of Goldman Sachs in the West Wing? Why have your policies been tailored to helping Wall Street bankers, rather than the other 300 million of us, who just happen to be suffering badly right now?
Are you freakin' kidding me??? What's up with the passive president routine, anyhow, Fool? You hold the most powerful position in the world. Or maybe Rahm forgot to mention that to you. Or maybe the fat cat bankers don't actually let do that whole decision-making thing often enough that it would actually matter...
But, really, are you going to spend the next three interminable years perfecting your whiney victim persona? I don't really think I could bear that. Hearing you complain about how rough it all is, when you have vastly more power than any of us to fix it? Please. Not that.
"Senator" Al Franken is a bigger Jerk than he played on TV
Al Franken is one such. He's a total dope. A mean spirited lefty. Seems to be a trait I see again and again.
I don't like him much. Not that he cares. He's deluded even when he said -
I'm Good Enough, I'm Smart Enough, and Doggone It, People Like Me!
I don't think many people like him at all. He's certainly not good or smart. So even that was a fraud just like the election Acorn bought for him.
Why 2010 really matters.....We must clean house and senate
As Congress wraps up its final business for the year, there are at least a dozen detrimental policies included in the omnibus spending bill recently signed into law by the President. Taken as a whole, these policies devalue human life, weaken civil society, and undermine the family. Unfortunately, these provisions have largely gone unnoticed by the general public.
The Dirty Dozen
The Fiscal Year 2010 Omnibus Appropriations bill passed by Congress includes a slew of offensive items:
1. Elimination of abstinence education. Despite polling showing the vast majority of parents want their children to be taught that abstinence is best, the omnibus defunds the abstinence-based education program. In its place Congress creates another condom-based sex education program.
2. Spreading the wealth. The omnibus bill, as well as the other appropriation measures that have passed this year, represent a fulfillment of President Obama’s promise to “spread the wealth.” His 2010 budget reflects a 30 percent increase over President Bush’s last year in office on means-tested welfare programs such as housing, food stamps, and health care. Unfortunately, these programs do little or nothing to help recipients move off of the welfare rolls and into jobs where they can achieve independence and provide for their families.
3. Needle exchange. Tucked into the health portion of the bill is an allowance of federal taxpayer funds to be used for needle exchange programs whereby drug addicts can get new needles for turning in used needles. Ostensibly to prevent the spread of infection, these programs settle for “harm reduction” rather than overcoming drug addiction. The provision does allow local health agencies and local law enforcement to “opt-out.”
4. Planned Parenthood funding. Despite the country’s towering deficit, the omnibus bill boosts Title X family planning funding by $10 million to $315.5 million. The largest recipient of Title X funds is Planned Parenthood.
5. United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA). Despite its stated mission to “ensure that every pregnancy is wanted,” the UNFPA would receive $5 million more from U.S. taxpayers to, among other things, support China’s mandatory one-child policy, under which millions of wanted pregnancies have been ended.
6. International family planning. Shortly after his inauguration, President Obama rescinded the “Mexico City policy,” which banned funding to organizations that promote and/or perform abortion overseas. The omnibus bills would give these groups an additional $103 million.
7. Limiting free speech. The omnibus bill drops a ban on federal funds being used to enforce or implement the “Fairness Doctrine.” This policy would have the effect of shutting down conservative talk radio programs.
The section of the bill that funds the District of Columbia includes these disturbing provisions:
8. Ending the D.C. Scholarship Program. For five years, thousands of D.C. families have been able to send their children to safe and effective private schools. But the omnibus bill allows no new entrants into the program–despite a 2009 Department of Education report showing a statistically significant increase in reading scores for scholarship students.
9. Public funding of abortion. The bill lifts a ban on D.C. using local funds to promote and fund abortions for District residents.
10. Taxpayer-financed domestic partner benefits. The bill lifts a longstanding ban on the use of federal taxpayer funds to pay for health care benefits for domestic partners of D.C. employees. Federal funds would also now be used for domestic partnership registration.
11. Legalized medical marijuana. The bill gives D.C. the ability to use local funds to start and implement a medical marijuana program. This comes at a time when, according to a recent article in the Wall Street Journal, Los Angeles is attempting to reel in its program. Medical marijuana dispensaries have become one of the fastest-growing industries in the city, with some 1,000 dispensaries cropping up since 2004.
12. Needle exchange for drug abusers. A decade-long ban is lifted in the bill to allow D.C. to use local funds to run a needle exchange program for drug addicts. Unfortunately, a provision keeping these programs from within 1,000 feet of any school, day care, or youth center was stripped out in the final bill.
Unwelcome Christmas Gifts
The Christmas season is a time when Americans celebrate life, family, and community. Unfortunately, the 12 unwelcome Christmas gifts in the omnibus bill, signed into law by President Obama last week, undermine these pillars of American civil society.

Both sides see the other as weirdly strange.
Is there any way to make the other side see things from my point of view?

What Planet do these people live on?

You won't. No wonder there's such a cultural divide. The side that came up with this has none.

A note from a decade ago...it's worse NOW
The Muslim religion is the fastest growing religion per capita in Canada, especially in the minority races! Last month I attended my annual training session that's required for maintaining my federal prison security clearance. During the training session there was a presentation by three speakers representing the Roman Catholic, Protestant and Muslim faiths, who explained each of their beliefs. I was particularly interested in what the Islamic Imam had to say. The Imam gave a great presentation of the basics of Islam, complete with a video.
After the presentations, time was provided for questions and answers. When it was my turn, I directed my question to the Imam and asked: 'Please, correct me if I'm wrong, but I understand that most Imams and clerics of Islam have declared a holy jihad [Holy war] against the infidels of the world and, that by killing an infidel, (which is a command to all Muslims) they are assured of a place in heaven. If that's the case, can you give me the definition of an infidel?' There was no disagreement with my statements and, without hesitation, he replied, 'Non-believers!' I responded, 'So, let me make sure I have this straight. All followers of Allah have been commanded to kill everyone who is not of your faith so they can have a place in heaven. Is that correct?' The expression on his face changed from one of authority and command to that of a little boy who had just been caught with his hand in the cookie jar.' He sheepishly replied, 'Yes.' I then stated, 'Well, sir, I have a real problem trying to imagine Pope John Paul commanding all Catholics to kill those of your faith or Dr. Stanley ordering all Protestants to do the same in order to guarantee them a place in heaven!'
The Imam was speechless! I continued, 'I also have a problem with being your friend when you and your brother clerics are telling your followers to kill me! Let me ask you a question: Would you rather have your Allah, who tells you to kill me in order for you to go to heaven, or my Jesus who tells me to love you because I am going to heaven and He wants you to be there with me?' You could have heard a pin drop as the Imam hung his head in shame. Needless to say, the organizers and/or promoters of the Diversification training seminar were not happy with my way of dealing with the Islamic Imam, and exposing the truth about the Muslims' beliefs. In twenty years there will be enough Muslim voters in Canada to elect the Prime Minister! I think everyone in Canada should be required to read this. There is no way this will be widely publicized, unless each of us send it on! The man who walks with God always gets to his destination. If you have a pulse you have a purpose.
This is your chance to make a difference.
Santa Nat Hentoff thinks BHO is the WORST POTUS of all time

I agree.
It looks like Saint NAT will be leaving a lump of coal for Barry tonight.
The Left's Obsession with Demeaning Sarah Palin is Like unto -
Vovochkin is sitting in a history class when his teacher encourages students to denounce God's existence and say some kind of blaspheme. Everyone complies except for Vovochkin.
Teacher:"Vovochkin, are you some kind of Christian or something?"
Vovochkin:"No, why?"
Teacher:"Why wouldn't you denounce God"
Vovochkin:" Well, if God doesn't exist, why are spending so much time denouncing him? you look stupid; if God does exist, you are stupid once again for denouncing someone like Him."
The best gift would be a dose of realism from the Great Leader
Who actually believes in this man....fewer I'll postulate than those who actually believe in Santa Claus. And, it's not conservatives. They never really did..a few.. but few. It's now Liberals and middle of the road voters embarrassed by the Obama 08 stickers on their cars.
Oh sure there are a few die hards, but fewer every day. He was a supernova who flashed brightly on the scene and swept into office with no more qualification than a street sweeper. Being President is hard. He has now learned this. I want him to succeed, not his policies, HIM. But, he needs to get a dose of realism. He came into this gig with zero understanding of what he is doing. He surrounded himself with ideologues, community organizers, lawyers, professional politicians and Chicago machine mobsters. Not a great pool of leadership depth.
Well, his good till date has expired. I actually don't think he's a bad man. Just out of his league. And he fooled enough good people that he is now in a place where failure shouldn't be an option...Except he is failing...terminally.
Daniel Henniger has a good Wall Street Journal OP ED piece on all this.
Excerpts:
Nobody says "Barack Obama" anymore. He's just "Obama." He is the champ of one-name celebrities. Bono, Beyoncé, Sting, Madonna, Moby, LeBron, Ronaldo, even Oprah—no one's close. Obama. Oh-BAHH-ma. OhhhhhbamaMr President, please reflect on what you have done...or didn't do. It's not too late to repent.
..............................
The politician formerly known as Barack Obama swept into office on a wave of goodwill. After the election his support grew, giving him a bigger win than the 52.9% to 45.7% voting result.
....................
The election itself was part fairy tale, part fight of the century. The incredible primary battle between the rookie from Illinois and Team Clinton was a mesmerizing, six-month thriller
..........................
The American presidency isn't like anything else in life. What was magic at Harvard or wowed independents in 2008 isn't necessarily what works in the Oval Office or in a room with Vladimir Putin or Wen Jiabao, who are quite beyond the experience of political awe.
............................
The aspect of the "Obama" phenomenon that disconcerts me most is the sense that Barack Obama himself is at times oblivious of where it has taken him. The first time was his acceptance speech last year in Denver, in which he promised to solve, well, pretty much everything. Grandiosity is de rigueur on that occasion, but this was its antic cousin, grandiloquence.
...........................
From the Wizard of Oz to Tiger Woods, the greatest danger to grand men is feet of clay. There are varieties of clay. For the politician known as Obama it is that if he is shown to be a cynic, he is finished. "Monopoly money" was an everyone-agrees-with-me remark. But to everyone, it was simply fantastic.

It's good to take the Nose and Glasses OFF
He hung that hat often. Of course it was all baloney.
Chris Matthews is and always has been a crackpot (I love that word) liberal. A Toad in the French kind of way. Those who are unsure, spineless and unable to maintain any kind of center like the French are called Toads. Shakespeare was the first to use this nomenclature.
Anyway, the Toad Matthews admitted to being a liberal a few days ago. Big shock. But, now he admits that Saul Alinsky (Rules for Radicals) is a hero of his.
YUCK.
I didn't watch him before, but now I will even less...if that is even possible.

Avatar
Movie started at 6:30 and was sold out by 5:30.
Colorful imaginative. Special effects out the door. Creative beyond belief. And, I loved all the plants and animals.
BUT
Please can we have a movie without a stupid message? Earth Mother religion? Come on.....
AND
Warmonger white men (George Bush) was just below the surface. And the noble savage myth.
Like those who believe that the American Indian had some great earth mother religion that we somehow missed.
Sorry, it's not playing true.
So, go see the movie, it's really interesting how they made it. BUT, you have to look past a lot of religion to enjoy it.

Isn't it interesting that of the top ten happiest states 8 are red and religious?
Of course, that has nothing to do with anything, right?
Liberals are at heart unhappy people....
I rest my case.

Hat Tip to Barry Kolb
Annual How to Truly Enjoy the Next Several Days Edition
1. Avoid carrot sticks. Anyone who puts carrots on a holiday buffet table knows nothing of the Holiday spirit. In fact, if you see carrots, leave immediately. Go next door, where they’re serving rum balls.
2. Drink as much eggnog as you can. And quickly. It’s rare.. You cannot find it any other time of year but now. So drink up! Who cares that it has 10,000 calories in every sip? It’s not as if you’re going to turn into an eggnog-alcoholic or something. It’s a treat. Enjoy it. Have one for me. Have two. It’s later than you think. It’s Christmas!
3. If something comes with gravy, use it. That’s the whole point of gravy. Gravy does not stand alone. Pour it on. Make a volcano out of your mashed potatoes. Fill it with gravy. Eat the volcano. Repeat.
4. As for mashed potatoes, always ask if they’re made with skim milk or whole milk. If it’s skim, pass. Why bother? It’s like buying a sports car with an automatic transmission.
5. Do not have a snack before going to a party in an effort to control your eating. The whole point of going to a Holiday party is to eat other people’s food for free. Lots of it. Hello?
6. Under no circumstances should you exercise between now and New Year’s. You can do that in January when you have nothing else to do.. This is the time for long naps, which you’ll need after circling the buffet table while carrying a 10-pound plate of food and that vat of eggnog.
7. If you come across something really good at a buffet table, like frosted Christmas cookies in the shape and size of Santa, position yourself near them and don’t budge. Have as many as you can before becoming the center of attention. They’re like a beautiful pair of shoes. If you leave them behind, you’re never going to see them again.
8. Same for pies. Apple, Pumpkin, Mincemeat. Have a slice of each. Or if you don’t like mincemeat, have two apples and one pumpkin. Always have three. When else do you get to have more than one dessert? Labor Day?
9. Did someone mention fruitcake? Granted, it’s loaded with the mandatory celebratory calories, but avoid it at all cost. I mean, have some standards.
10. One final tip: If you don’t feel terrible when you leave the party or get up from the table, you haven’t been paying attention. Re-read tips; start over, but hurry, January is just around the corner. Remember this motto to live by:
“Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate and wine in one hand, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming “WOO HOO what a ride!”
Barack H. Obama's BADLY Broken Promises
1. Make Government Open and TransparentJust so you don't think I'm kidding, here on you tube is BHO proclaiming this to be the case.
2. Make it "Impossible" for Congressmen to slip in Pork Barrel Projects
3. Meetings where laws are written will be more open to the public (republicans shut out)
4. No more secrecy
5. Public will have 5 days to look at a Bill
6. You'll know what's in it (Republican Senators didn't know)
7. We will put every pork barrel project online
I know there are promises he made that he CAN'T keep. Like the unemployment level not going too high. BUT there are promises he made that he CAN keep. And, his bozo fellows in Congress just make mincemeat of him.
That's what happens when amateur hour takes place.

The Sadness of Old Liberals
Jimmy Carter
Nancy Pelosi
Garrison Keilor
Bill Maher
Joy Behar
And many others.
Then there are those who on the outside are very liberal but underneath have middle right sensibilities that belie their liberalism. Whoopi Goldberg would be one. I heard an interesting story from a business associate that confirmed this assumption with me.
When a person is young they can and SHOULD be a radical. They should believe. They should push for progressive change. It's part of growing up. Then, when they get older it's time to put away childish things and see the world for what it really is. Some never do. They become the face of Old Lefties.
Not pretty - Exhibit A:
Abraham Lincoln once said that a Man's face is the roadmap on which you can see all the joys and pain they have endured. Garrison's is not a good map to joy.
The Big Pharma - Big Insurance Protection Act
We have a terrible mess that is about to pass congress and that Obama will sign.
I do not repent of my desire to see a program to reform our broken health care system. I’m right. To do nothing is ignorance. To do something worse is criminal. That’s what we have. Now a plan that protects Big Pharma and Big Insurance will be signed into law. Even the radical left understands what a racket this really is.
This is a bad law written by bad people. You will hear more about this. When the details of this catastrophe becomes known we will all howl like banshees. It’s horrible. A nuclear bomb of bad policy.
So, there is the conundrum. Doing nothing is unacceptable; doing something worse is catastrophic.
Sure, we will have a brief victory in 2010. Who knows it might even get Sarah Palin elected in 2012. But, we have now proven who really runs this country. And the evil behind them have carved out a long term strategy to win from this day forward.
Welcome to Hell.

Season's Greetings
Please accept with no obligation, implied or implicit, my best wishes for an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low-stress, non-addictive, gender-neutral celebration of the winter solstice holiday, practiced within the most enjoyable traditions of the religious persuasion of your choice, or secular practices of your choice, with respect for the religious/secular persuasion and/or traditions of others, or their choice not to practice religious or secular traditions at all. I also wish you a fiscally successful, personally fulfilling and medically uncomplicated recognition of the onset of the generally accepted calendar year 2010, but not without due respect for the calendars of choice of other cultures whose contributions to society have helped make America great. Not to imply that America is necessarily greater than any other country nor the only America in the Western Hemisphere . Also, this wish is made without regard to the race, creed, color, age, physical ability, religious faith or sexual preference of the wish.
To My Republican Friends:
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year in the year of our Lord Jesus Christ 2010.

Can you be a good news anaylist?
I wrote the author and told her so. She responded thanks for reading.
OK, Consider me thanked.
BUT,the truth is,this kind of political junk science can't go unchallenged.
I did.
Can you spot the untruths? Read the article, there are at least a dozen glaring errors.
Watching the Lefties Implode - or - what can happen when crazies and amateurs try to rule
'Weakness, chaos, and failure'
The Democratic Party is not so much a political party anymore as much as it is a public relations firm whose primary target audience is that of a remedial civics class.
'Progressive' LIBERAL blogger John Aravosis seems to add my argument: (via Ace)
Why with 60 votes are Democrats so ineffective, but with 50 votes Republicans excel?
...
It's not about the votes, people. It's about leadership. The current occupant of the White House doesn't like to fight, and the leadership in Congress has never been as good at their jobs, at marshaling their own party, as the Republicans were when they were in the majority. The President is supposed to rally the country, effectively putting pressure on opposition members of Congress to sit down and shut up. And the congressional leadership is supposed to rally its members to hold the line, and get the 51 votes necessary for passing legislation in a climate where the minority is too afraid to use the filibuster. When you have a President who is constitutionally, or intellectually, unable to stand for anything, and a congressional leadership that, rather than disciplining its own members and forging ahead with its own agenda, cedes legislative authority to a president who refuses to lead, you have a recipe for exactly what happened last night. Weakness, chaos, and failure.
We lost real health care reform not because we don't have a "real" filibuster-proof majority in the Senate. We lost health care reform because we don't have a real leader anywhere in our party.

Being an Overcomer
TGIF Today God Is First Volume 2, by Os Hillman
12-16-2009
"How long, O LORD? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me? How long must I wrestle with my thoughts and every day have sorrow in my heart? How long will my enemy triumph over me?" (Ps 13:1-2).
Have you ever heard someone jokingly say, "It's not easy being me?" This expression is poking fun at their unique personality or challenges they face in life. Well, it wasn't easy being King David.
His life was a life of extreme highs and extreme lows. He was a shepherd, a political leader, a builder, a prophet, a businessman, a warrior, a lover, a giver, a murderer and a worshiper. He must have been criticized by others as being hypocritical in his early career. In each of these roles he achieved things for God but he also failed God on many occasions. He had a creative-type personality, which is often very passionate with many mood swings. We see this side of him when he unabashedly danced before the Lord in front of his subjects almost naked (2 Sam 6:14).
When David wrote his psalms he was honest about what he was feeling. When he feared his enemies he expressed it. When he could not understand why God was silent, he expressed it as in the psalm above.
However, David never stayed in the place of despair. He often ended his psalms like this one. "But I trust in your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in your salvation. I will sing to the LORD, for he has been good to me" (Ps 13:5-6).
David chooses to focus on what God has done for him, not what He has not done. If you are waiting for a breakthrough with God, be honest with Him about your hopes and dreams. However, also affirm your faith and trust in Him to accomplish His purposes through your life. Be an overcomer.
Second Graders in Indiana taught songs calling Allah God and never mention Jesus in a "holiday" program
First reported by American Family radio and Fox News. Thank God for Watchmen on the Walls.
In Indiana a "christmas" program was presented that the children sang no actual songs about Jesus. His name was never mentioned.
BUT
GUESS WHO'S NAME WAS? ALLAH. These are impressionable Second Graders. This is not a mistake or political correctness gone amock, this is EVIL. Let's call it what it really is.
From this report (read the whole thing)
Here’s what the children were assigned to sing:
“Allah is God, we recall at dawn,
Praying ‘til night during Ramadan
At this joyful time we pray happiness for you,
Allah be with you all your life through.”But when it came time to perform the “Christian” part of Christmas, children were assigned to say:
“I didn’t know there was a little boy at the manger. What child is this?
I’m not sure if there was a little boy or not.
Then why did you paint one on your nativity window?
I just thought if there was a little boy, I’d like to know exactly what he (sic) say.Micah Clark, executive director of the Indiana AFA, launched an Internet protest once he heard about the allegations. “What surprised me here is that we’ve had a secular scrubbing of Christmas for so long and the school apparently didn’t see the problem with kids singing to Allah,” he told FOX News Radio. “You won’t even mention Jesus and you’re going to force my child to sing about Allah?
We have much work to do. This is a full on pagan society.

One Hundred Thesis on the Wall
This is pretty conclusive so if you believe in the Gore-ligion and all his apostles assembled in Copenhagen you may not want to read this. It will make your head explode.
Of course anything of faith that is contradicted by truth and science will cause true believers to come unglued.
It would me.
Except, there is no such list for a belief in Jesus as the Christ of God. So, sorry, I'll pass on conversion to the church of Gore.

What they teach you in Journalism School but SHOULDN'T
If you wonder why American newspapering is dying, consider this sign-off:
AP writers Matt Apuzzo, Sharon Theimer, Tom Raum, Rita Beamish, Beth Fouhy, H. Josef Hebert, Justin D. Pritchard, Garance Burke, Dan Joling and Lewis Shaine contributed to this report.
Wow. That's ten "AP writers" plus Calvin Woodward, the AP writer whose twinkling pen honed the above contributions into the turgid sludge of the actual report. That's eleven writers for a 695-word report. What on? Obamacare? The Iranian nuke program? The upcoming trial of Khalid Sheikh Mohammed?
No, the Associated Press assigned eleven writers to "fact-check" Sarah Palin's new book
Now we have this. From the AP's article covering (up) ClimateGate:
The AP studied all the e-mails for context, with five reporters reading and rereading them—about 1 million words in total.
That's less than half the reporters they assigned to "fact-check" Sarah Palin's book.

I want to lose my cable connection, is this it?
BUT, reading THIS article it seems like we are getting closer.
I'm ready to say bye to cable.
MAYBE SOON?
On the road meant OFF this time
I made my meeting, then after a brief call and check up, I headed north.
Hey, I'm from North Dakota. I can handle this.
Except I can't. I made my PM meeting in Granville near Orange City and then headed east. I wanted to get as far as possible. I made 11 miles. To Pocahontas IA. And was bizzarded in.
But by 11AM I decided I'm outa here.
Made another few miles and hit whiteout blizzard condition. I stopped after hitting a huge snowdrift. Made better friends of a Cenex gas station manager than I wanted to.
After deciding without any empirical information that things had improved. I launched off. It was better. But, on the road there was a white out. When it cleared up...I saw a car in the middle of the road. I saw a front end loader next to it. I could hit the front end loader, or the stalled car or the ditch.
I hit the ditch.
For the next two hours I waited to be pulled out. I was finally. A hundred bucks later I was back on the road a thousand pounds of snow heavier.
And it was cold.
After driving on 20 for a few hours I ended up on the interstate between Waterloo and Iowa City. It was glare packed snow. Almost impossible. But I made it. And I made it home.
I guess I had paid my running off the road dues.
It's been hard but I am happy to be alive. And have my car full whole.
The good news is the trip was worth the effort. I guess if it was easy anyone could do it.
Feathered Evangilists
I have a feeling that birds are good Evangelists. Or they are so happy to have something to eat that they tweet thanksgiving loudly and other birds hear and come.
Of course there's that squirrel who keeps chasing them off....He wants it for himself.
I think there's a message in there somewhere.
I miss the opera
I miss the opera. A lot.
I listened to the opening from the Met on the Radio Saturday. It was just cleansing to hear it all again. I guess when you change your lifestyle some, things change, and sometimes there's a hole.
There is.

A Nuclear Physisit PhD does a Scholarly work on Anthoprogenic Global Warming... Conclusion? It's Bunk.. Surprised?
Or you can just take my word for it. Global Warming is a hoax of the worst possible agenda.
The ACORN Entitlement Ruling is Government run Fully Amuck
"The question here is only whether the Constitution allows Congress to declare that a single, named organization is barred from all federal funding in the absence of a trial," Gershon wrote in a 21-page decision.
How is that the question? Which Constitution is this judge reading? Congress has the right to cut off funding for anything which it is funding, receiving money from the government doesn't give a "due process keep giving me money" card.
We know ACORN is a Democratic organization run by degenerates who use federal money to register, legally and not, any kind of Democrats to vote. If not for federal money and the money of rank-and-file union members this organization wouldn't exist. What is sadder than tax payers funding this group are the millions that have come from union paychecks(here and here), most of whom I'll wager don't even know it.
I'll bet no one was allowed to question Hitler or Stalin either
You are not allowed to question. It's settled they say.
So security was called and hauled him away.
And they have the temerity to insist they aren't fascists.
Has the USA become ungovernable?
Matthew Yglesias: “The smarter elements in Washington DC are starting to pick up on the fact that it’s not tactical errors on the part of the president that make it hard to get things done, it’s the fact that the country has become ungovernable.”
Funny, that dumb cowboy Bush seemed to get a lot done with fewer votes in Congress. . . .
Plus, from the comments: “There have been no major institutional changes in the United States government in recent history that have caused it to ‘become ungovernable.’ There just isn’t enough political support to enact various news laws and policies that you favor. Tough. If you hadn’t become seduced by the delusion that Obama is a ‘progressive’ and that last year’s election represented some kind of historic realignment in favor of ‘progressive’ policies you might have seen this coming.”
Or, as Ed Morrissey noted a while ago: “Who could have warned us that a man who served seven years in the state legislature and three years in the Senate would not have been prepared for the toughest executive position in the Free World? We did. Repeatedly. So did John McCain, and for that matter, so did Hillary Clinton.”
Barack Obama wasn’t ready to be president, and he better figure out what he’s doing before it’s too late.I hope he begins to figure it out. And I hope he soon gets a congress made up of adults.
I'm starting to root for him, we need him to be competent soon. I can only hope.
If you almost believe a lie, it's nearly as bad as really believing it
It's pretty settled. Pretty conclusive. Global warming is a lie from the pit of hell. Here's the truth:
- Climates change.
- The lies are all about control and politics.
- Evil men and evil governments are behind this.
- I'm glad they were caught.
- I hope they go to jail for a long time. Al Gore who probably is a dupe in all this should go to jail for just being stupid.
- Global warming is NOT pollution. It's climate change. I'm for clean environment. I'm against lies meant to enslave population.
- I know this whole thing won't close the door on bad policy, but maybe it will slow it for a while. The EPA decision to make CO2 a pollutant was completely out of order. It was a pressure tactic for liars to pressure congress into implementing other bad policy.
How long will we have to put up with these crazy people? Not much longer I suspect. This has become a complete meltdown. I say, let's put the pressure on, not let up. It's all lies and if you believe a second of it, it will put you in chains.
Lies. All lies.

Bush closes the gap
Perhaps the greatest measure of Obama's declining support is that just 50% of voters now say they prefer having him as President to George W. Bush, with 44% saying they'd rather have his predecessor. Given the horrendous approval ratings Bush showed during his final term that's somewhat of a surprise and an indication that voters are increasingly placing the blame on Obama for the country's difficulties instead of giving him space because of the tough situation he inherited. The closeness in the Obama/Bush numbers also has implications for the 2010 elections. Using the Bush card may not be particularly effective for Democrats anymore, which is good news generally for Republicans and especially ones like Rob Portman who are running for office and have close ties to the former President.

Anemic Faith
12-10-2009
"For we also have had the gospel preached to us, just as they did; but the message they heard was of no value to them, because those who heard did not combine it with faith" (Heb 4:2-3).
I run into anemic Christians everyday. They have a form of religion but fail to mix their belief with faith and obedience. The apostle Paul described them when he said "these people have a form of godliness but deny its power."
What are the telltale signs of anemic faith? When you no longer pray about decisions, you have anemic faith. When you fail to speak to others about their relationship with God, you have anemic faith. When you're unwilling to spend time with God everyday, your faith has become anemic. You no longer have a living faith.
God spoke to John, the apostle, through a vision and told him about some Christians who were part of the church in Laodicea:
"To the angel of the church in Laodicea write: These are the words of the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the ruler of God's creation. I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm-neither hot nor cold-I am about to spit you out of my mouth. You say, 'I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.' But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked. I counsel you to buy from me gold refined in the fire, so you can become rich; and white clothes to wear, so you can cover your shameful nakedness; and salve to put on your eyes, so you can see" (Rev 3:14-18).
These are strong words from our Lord. We are all susceptible to growing cold and anemic in our faith. Today, ask God to revive your heart and to restore the fire of your faith so that you will experience a vibrant and active faith that impacts the kingdom of darkness.

If you choose to get away and hear from God... A HOW TO
Don't take books with you. Maybe not even your Bible. I know that's heresy, but you have the word IN you. Let Father bring it to life as you hear from him.
DO take a blank journal.... and something with which to write. If you have questions to inquire of the Lord, write them down. He may or may not answer them. When he does it will be wonderful. Don't push it. It's not about you. You listen. He'll speak. When he says what he will say, write it down.
Some of what you scribble in your notebook will seem to be babble. It will seem to be just so much noise. But as you write, as you transcribe, the Lord WILL speak. You will quickly discern what is from Him and what is NOT. It will be clear.
Don't be impatient. Most of these deals for me take a couple days just to make the connection. After that it's pretty fluid. Most of what you hear will be at the end of your time.
Be merciless at eschewing ALL communications, all connection, all news, all anything with the outside world. You must not be distracted.
This is good discipline in hearing from God. The more you do this, the easier it gets. You will discover the "zone". Then when you need a word you can get there quickly.
This is about you hearing him, so don't feel obligated to talk.... Oh, it's good to voice your prayers and concerns, but absolute silence is essential. His voice is still and small. Yet in the Spirit it trumpets.
Try to just wait. Don't be impatient. And if you get upset by the silence, just rest in him. Even if you sleep. The time when you are just waking up, that twilight of the mind when nothing else is going on many times is when He comes to you. Many dreams and visions were recieved in sleep. Samuel was called in his sleep.

Fast facts about The Climate Gate Scandal
The CRU and its director, Dr. Phil Jones, are important because the CRU is a central point for data collection, storage, and analysis of climate data. And Dr. Jones is one of the lead authors of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) AR4 report, which is the basis for much of the current political drive for CO2 limits.
The theory IPCC favors for climate change is that human-caused CO2 emissions are causing the climate to warm beyond what would naturally happen.
The Climategate files held many embarrassing revelations. They appear to show collusion on the part of many of the top names in climate science:
* to subvert peer review and prevent publication of papers that didn’t completely agree with the favored theory;
* to manipulate data, and the analysis of data, to make the best case for the favored theory;
* to avoid releasing their data under the Freedom of Information laws in the U.S. and UK.
About the Science
* The consensus is not scientific as much as it is political.
What we find out from the emails is that Jones and a number of others were using underhanded manipulations to suppress scientific publications that disagreed with the CO2-caused AGW theory. There is no scientific consensus if all the science isn’t being considered.
* There’s a difference between “global warming,” “anthropogenic (caused by humans) global warming,” and “anthropogenic global warming caused by CO2.”
* The Climategate files don’t call global warming into question, but they make some of the science of anthropogenic global warming more suspect, and they make it clear that “forcings” other than CO2 have not been fairly considered.
* There has clearly been significant warming in the last 400 years — since the “Little Ice Age”. That’s how we know it was the Little Ice Age.
* There is good reason to believe that humans may be accounting for some warming — and some cooling, for that matter. But we don’t know how much.
* The case for all or most of the warming being due to CO2 was not as unquestionable as it was presented to be, and from the Climategate files we know that even that case was being slanted significantly.
* There is more than one “smoking gun” email (see here, here, here, here, here, and more)
* … but the program codes are much more significant than the emails
* … and the program codes will be yielding new surprises for a while to come.
About the Politics
* Science invariably has politics involved. That’s because science is invariably done by people.
* The key to science is “trust but verify”: you trust the science because you are assured you can verify it if necessary. The Climategate files show the CRU clique wanted to be trusted, but didn’t want to be verified.
* The science was being used politically long before we think it was.
About the Finances:
* “Global warming” was a big source of grants and funding.
* “Global warming scientists” got to go to all the best conferences. (Tahiti? Gstaad?)
* Ultimately, there are billions of dollars to be made off of “global warming.”
When you Don't have a moral compass, any road will get you there
In recent weeks we have witnessed liberals in the highest level of government sanctimoniously defend terrorists who kill us, while persecuting those who defend us from murderous attacks. In an effort to understand this reversal of good and evil, it has become a cliché to call liberals crazy. But while supremely hypocritical, liberalism is not insane. It is a highly adaptive ego device that enables people to violate commitments, vilify those who are true to their faith, and avoid personal sacrifice while feeling great about themselves. The only defense against hypocrisy is self-knowledge; the politics, spirituality, and morality of liberalism are well-constructed firmaments of self-delusion.Please read the whole thing, particularly if you are a Liberal. And then, Please tell me where the author goes wrong. I want to know. The United States was founded in a Judeo-Christian theocentrism that is informed by scripture and assumes a personal God who hears prayers and grants forgiveness for sin. Theocentrism provides stable laws and settled moral codes. In the mid-twentieth century, an unorganized, reactive spiritual orientation arose, egocentrism, which has become the dominant moral framework in our nation. This orientation says there may or may not be a God, so each individual must follow his or her own conscience and ethical values. Theocentrism has been promulgated by traditional religion. Egocentrism has mainly been introduced through mass media, educational power structures, and more recently by reoriented religions.

Time to admit it.
NOW, let’s have a barbecue with (of) the rest of the crazies over there and get this thing over with.

It’s Got to Suck to be a Climavangelist!
Saturday, December 05, 2009
What are the global warming grunts going to do now that the Apostles of the Holy Church of Climatology have been busted for cooking the “truth” (I believe the exact word they used was “tricking” us) so that we the sheeple would step-n-fetch to their Chicken Little crap?
What will chunky Al Gore do seeing that he has officially slammed into a veritable inconvenient truth? I hear that Gore hasn’t been this gauche since he was busted in 2001 by Warren Christopher while lip-synching to “Dancin’ With Myself” in the Lincoln Bedroom wearing only Tipper’s pantyhose, Madonna’s snow cone bra, and Janet Reno’s glasses.
This just in! NewsBusters reports that Al Gore has just cancelled his $1,200 per person December 16th Climate Change blah blah blah speech in Copenhagen. Come on, Al, don’t quit now. It’s just about to get good. And there will always be plenty of Euro-tools who’ll continue to buy your trumped-up, utterly specious green hash gobbledygook. Cowboy up, sister.
You and I both know that Judas Priest Albert Gore, facts be damned, will never recant but will instead retreat in a recalcitrant manner deeper into Hollywood weirdness where the global warming Kool Aid runs like Tiger Woods did from his angry wife with a 3 iron. Trust me.
As John Stewart pointed out on the Daily Show this week, oh the irony that the Internet Al invented has debunked his global warming bunkum. Christmas came early this year for me! Yes it did. Pay attention, kiddies: You’re viewing history in the making. Yep, little children, the Climavangelists’ attempt to hoodwink our planet will make your history books. Correction: that would be the homeschoolers’ history books. But I digress.
Back to the modus operandi of the tree humpers. Here’s what the greenies will do now even though they know they’ve been had: They’ll try to kill the news, and if that doesn’t work they’ll attempt to kill the messenger as they plug their ears, stomp their feet, and keep believing their goofy gospel of green. They have no other recourse as they have worked too hard for this to be true.
In addition, for the power brokers of this hot earth heresy there is just way, way too much money to lose and control to be forfeited for them to concede that their leaders have been lying SOBs.
Nor should you expect the lower level hairy-legged earth girl to bail out of her tree, cease to drop acid, stop wearing hemp and assimilate into reality anytime soon just because she got fish slapped with truth. These green gals will, one and all, Jim Jones this thing to the bitter end and maintain their global warming course right through the coming ice age. Hail hot mother earth!
Yep, since the revealing of the egregious climate con job discovered in the email exchanges with “scientists” at the University of East Anglia and the subsequent resignations of a couple of their glory boys, Climavangelism and Climavangelists have fallen on tough times. Kinda like ACORN has. Maybe, like ACORN, the Climate Change/Global Warming reality stylists could change their name. Yeah, that’s it! I hear ACORN is going to fly under the new moniker “Societal Assistance Through Action Now,” or “SATAN” for short.
As you can tell, I truly don’t give a rat’s backside what Al Gore and his warm earth whores do in light of being lied to, but I do care what normal, non-brainwashed droogies do in lieu of this academic Ponzi scheme. I say a little rebellion is in order seeing how these clowns have sought to control our lives and milk our wallets in one of the greatest scientific scams in the last few centuries.
Here’s what I’m gonna do:
1. I am going to go outside by my pool and spray two full 32oz cans of Aqua Net right at the ozone.
2. I am going to use a gas powered scooter to go from room to room in my house, which will have all the outside doors open wide while the A/C is blowing full blast.
3. I am going to buy a ‘69 GTO with no exhaust system and let it idle for 4 hours a day in my driveway every day until Jesus returns.
4. I am going to fart as much as possible.
5. Speaking of farting, I am going to feed my cows bean dip and only bean dip. 6. I am going to set my thermostat on 85 in the winter and 55 in the summer.
7. I am going to use all my curly cue fluorescent light bulbs for clay pigeons—and not clean up the mess.
8. I am going to air up my tires on my ‘69 Goat so much that it looks like a frickin’ Macy’s Parade float.
9. When I go grizzly bear hunting in Alaska this spring I am going to add a polar bear to my license and take one of those as well.
10. While in Alaska I will take a blowtorch to a glacier to get my drinking water. 11. In addition, I am going to throw snowballs at seals. It won’t hurt them, but they will understand that the game is back on.
12. And finally, I am going to make certain my girls have Horner’s book Red Hot Lies and Milloy’s book Green Hell so that when their profs and goofy friends open their mouths on behalf global warming they can go Stone Cold Steve Austin on them with the cold, hard facts.

Why meeting a Payroll Matters
Pitifully it has come to pass. He still hasn't figured out basic business 101.
And he was so far out of his depth when he made this comment during his "Jobs" meeting (at the 2 minute mark) that "Proof" noted:
Part of what’s happened also among a lot of companies, is they figured out how to squeeze more productivity out of the workers that they’ve got. They’re working people longer hours, they’re doing more overtime… or not, but either way, they’re producing the same amount of product or providing the same services without hiring more people. That’s something that we really going to have to work on.
Spoken like a man who’s never had to meet a payroll! In fact, in nearly every company I ever worked for, as they were growing, there were times when our customer base had expanded, but not quite enough to justify hiring new people (profitably) to take up the slack, and until that happened…mirabile dictu some of us ended up working longer hours or overtime…or not… to provide goods and services to our customers! What a bumpkin! How naive can you get???
If Obama is really serious about “working on” the problem, he can lower taxes on corporations so that they can hire more people to provide better goods and more services and still maintain a margin of profit. Also, he can stop threatening to tinker with the American healthcare system, to give employers the confidence to be able to rationally calculate what it will cost to hire those additional workers, over time, as opposed to wondering what new government regulation or requirement might bankrupt them!
Oh, yeah. And while you’re at it? Drill here. Drill now.
Not to imply that America is necessarily greater than any other country nor the only America in the Western Hemisphere. Also, this wish is made without regard to the race, creed, color, age, physical ability, religious faith or sexual preference of the wisher.
To My Conservative and/or Republican Friends:
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
