Are Pilots "Dogmatic"?

True faith means to place confidence in something. It is neither irrational, nor ‘blind’. People the world over are putting their faith in countless religions, theories, sects and cults, the vast majority of which promise nothing this side of eternity. We are commonly told, ‘Keep an open mind. Never be dogmatic.’ What use is that? Do passengers want a pilot who is ‘open-minded’ about flying and his destination? It is not arrogance to be sure that the sun will rise in the morning. In the same way, Christians are sure of Christ and His promises.
