The lost eggs and nest of the sparrow eaten by the hawk is gone. Cleaned out. I didn't do it. Another bird did. And she is busy getting ready to inhabit the space the lost bird once did.
Life is cruel. Yet elegant. I wish our politicians had understood this simple economic principle.
