A comment on this editorial:
We have one last opportunity to rid ourselves of the Progressive parasites who plan America's demise.
We can avoid "1984" and/or "Road Warrior" scenarios, if we are willing to WAKE UP and smell the Socialism.
By Socialism, I mean Tyranny. Redistribution efforts are destined to fail, as they weaken our moral fiber by disincentivizing hard work and innovation; by the recipients of borrowed largess, as well as the providers.
But the "UN"intended consequences of 100 years of Progressive sabotage are EXACTLY what they meant to accomplish.
POWER. Raw, unadulterated power in the hands of the anointed few, over everyone else.
Mr. Curl has one point that should not be taken as tongue-in-cheek. O may be at fault, but WE are to blame.
We must not allow ourselves to be seduced by bread, circuses and apathy, to be bought by desperately needed government grants, to be goaded into precipitate anger and violence, to be convinced by con-man politicos who despise the fiscally conservative Constitutional concepts they claim to conform to.
We must join together, rise and FIGHT for liberty, as our forbears did, or it will perish from the Earth.
I would rather see a limited period of suffering and sacrifice in order to restore Constitutional government and prosperity than generations of slavery in a world that no longer knows freedom.
I would rather die as an old man in a free and prosperous America, but
I would die on my feet, for I will NOT live on my knees!
