WHAT? This guy was sentenced for murder and then let go on his own recognizance. Supposed to show up to begin his sentence. Of course he split. I had a friend who was convicted of theft. The sentence was handed down and he was put in chains right there in the court room and I watched him being taken away to begin his sentence. I thought that's how it always went down.
