I see a lot of people who want to see English be our official language.

 I'm for that since it is my native tongue... I just wish english made sense. I wish there were established observed rules of usage that actually worked. I just wish spelling this language made any sense at all. I wish our grammatical rules were predictable. It's really a mess. There is no rhyme or reason to our language. German would be better. Spanish would be better. They have (in their pure forms, not Spanglish or Deutschlish) spelling and grammatical order to them. SIGH. This from a guy who has a minor college degree in this abomination of a language.
