Cities come and go.

Chicago has only been a major city for 175 years. Some are in so much decline they are no longer in the top 100 in the USA. 14 States have zero cities in the top 100. The real question becomes as cities like Cleveland, Detroit and Chicago continue to decline if they will even be major cities a decade from now. Raising taxes, democrat governence and unions will vacate a city faster than you can say suburbia.
