With a tip of the hat to Blessed Economist. When I look around at the Church in America Jesus Body looks like a 98 pound weakling to the bullies that continually kick sand in his face.
HOW COME?
His body is weak, anemic and powerless. Charles Atlas of the Church where are you?
The open thread question (Open Thread is I am inviting anyone who wants to chime in Anonymously or otherwise to click on the comments link at the bottom of this post and say your piece). With Body Building as a metaphor for building up the Body of Christ examples might be:
- You only build up the muscles you exercise
- It takes good nutrition to help build bodies 12 ways
- Steroids look like they are helping but don't really help at all
- You can get exercise by being in the field or at the gym
You get the idea.
What can we learn from the body builders about building Jesus a better body here in America? Your comments please.
