Murderer in the Pulpit?

I wonder if the Reverend Jeremiah Wright in his rhetoric of racism and god damn America has bothered to consider 1 John 3:15.

I have thought about what I might have said to him if I were his friend and he preached the kinds of things he did.

I would ask if he Hated the people who "Oppressed" him. The verse says: Anyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life in him. Here's a pretty good study on all that.

If after that question he didn't recant his rants as I have heard and read them, I would ask him to step down, publicly rebuke him, and denounce him.

Of course that would have also meant i would have left that Church.

I submit, that's what Obama didn't do and for that reason he is not qualified to be President of the USA.

UPDATE: Like all true apostates, Wright Hates Jews and Israel.

Look at this

Imagine a white candidate went to a church for 20 years where the minister preached that blacks were the problem with America or other racist theories on par with what Wright says about Jews, America, Whites, etc. And that candidate said he had close relationship with that minister, akin to what you have said your relationship with Wright has been.

Would you accept as an explanation or excuse that the candidate 'didn't hear those things'? That the media was cherry picking quotes? That 'he's like a crazy uncle'? Or you find membership in such a church and a relationship with such a minister disqualifying?

Wouldn't a white candidate who went to such a church be unelectable and rightly so?
