Yesterday the family went down to the City. Chicago. To look at the lights, walk thru the stores and go to the Christmas Market on Daley Plaza.
Have done this often.
Then today I had to go to Lowes to pick some stuff up.
Downtown was a MOB. Cheek to Jowl. I couldn't believe how busy it was. In and out of the stores. And people had armload of stuff they had bought.
Same today at Lowes.
So, I'm having a little hard time believing all I hear about Black Friday being disappointing. I think it might have been better than they are making it out to have been. Of course for that to be true it would have to mean that the Mainstream Media lies to us and everyone knows that isn't possible.
