Why Obama won and the intellectual bankruptcy of our elected officials

There is a civics test that has received some publicity. It appears that economic and political ignorance is so deep that out elected officials are less informed than the electorate. In addition most people that voted for Obama would be of the same ilk.

You couldn't have voted for him and understood the essence of basic economics and civics.

I actually think Obama is smart enough to pass this test pretty well.

I blame our public school system and the liberal media for brainwashing a sheepling electorate.

Now we have this mess.
